Would or do you depend on your partner financially?

Do you have a backup in place in case of breakup or for your retirement?

@PeasOff my opinion that its strange to join and straight away start a emotive topic where there are hundreds of threads , im going to bed now as i have work in the morning

PeasOff · 24/07/2022 22:38

@TartanGirl1 I bloody hate the format! I'll get used to it in time!!

@worriedatthistime

You do realise I have literally control or say in what anyone else does?

Infamous as I am?

You realy think telling a woman not to worry their pretty little head about sexism and inequality in the work place is a good idea?

You're arguing that things are changing and telling me to campaign for better paternity leave and flexible working and telling not to worry about others lives?

🤣

worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:39

@TartanGirl1 sarcasm you have down to a tea
Nowhere did i say their were rules
But yes most people do tend to lurk first from what they say

PeasOff · 24/07/2022 22:39

@worriedatthistime you think this is something? Just wait until you see my other threads... you're in for a treat!

Night!

Dear MN

Please could you give Topgub her own very special section of MN where she can give her most superb advice to all the poor, naive SAHMs?

Better still, Topgub, I think you need to put yourself forward for the next episode of WifeSwap! It would be a classic.

"Topgub spends week as wife of hedge fund manager and mother of 4 in leafy Notting Hill.... "

PeasOff · 24/07/2022 22:40

@worriedatthistime I'm not new to forums, only this one and I'm known for getting stuck in... give it time and you'll get to know me 😁

worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:40

@Topgub except I never said that did i , thats all you and how you must think
Yes changing means just that changing , not changed , not all better , changing !!!
Like i said going to bed , We don't agree and thats fine , I believe in choice

Finallybreathe · 24/07/2022 22:41

What’s the obsession with SAHP on here?

@PeasOff did say she came from another forum so not new to this kind of board. Less need to lurk first.

One rule seems to be you can't have a laugh on MN!

Topgub · 24/07/2022 22:41

@worriedatthistime

I do expect comments back?

I havent said I don't.

It's you telling me to be quiet

worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:42

@PeasOff I doubt I will as Topics like this I don't normally join in but i hate when women are judgemental of other womens choices and question it

PeasOff · 24/07/2022 22:42

@malika3 excellent idea!! We'll come up with a witty opinion board name and take MN by storm!

Yeah it not what I am used to!

MN really needs a debate board!

AnnaFF · 24/07/2022 22:43

Mumsnet is boring at time - SAHM, pensions, alcohol intake, but sometimes interesting things are talked about. I'm not a SAHM, have a pension but'I do love a wine.

PeasOff · 24/07/2022 22:43

@worriedatthistime no one is exempt from criticism or judgement.

OP posts:
worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:43

@TartanGirl1 depends on the subject Surely
This is an emotive subject and as women we are criticised if a sahm or a working mum etc
Its better to see other women support a womens choice

Topgub · 24/07/2022 22:43

@worriedatthistime

You did say that lol.

AnnaFF · 24/07/2022 22:44

I love Style & Beauty.

But why does it have to be emotive? If you are comfortable with your choices who cares what others think?

Topgub · 24/07/2022 22:45

@malika3

For thinking SAHMs are making themselves financially vulnerable
worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:47

@PeasOff maybe be a better world if we were not so judgemental you think
As someone who suffers from MH sometimes people being judgmental can have a very negative affect
Being a mum is hard and when you feel people criticising your choices , which you have may be even unsure of yourself it doesn't help

worriedatthistime · 24/07/2022 22:47

@Topgub say what ?

malika3 · 24/07/2022 22:48

PeasOff - you could call it "Bigots Corner?"

"FeministsRnotUS?"

saraclara · 24/07/2022 22:48

So feminism is pro choice, but only certain choices. Okay then.

Well this thread has (unsurprisingly) turned to shit, so on that note, I'll find something better to do
