Would you go to a doggy disco and what would you expect.
Would you just like to meet other people with dogs?
Would you like to dance with your dog?
Can you tell me your thoughts, good or bad please?

Is my dog expected to slow dance to Old Shep?

No to doggy discos. I have just recovered from my dog being invited to a doggy birthday party.....🤣 ( actually he had a great time!)

What music will you have?
Hound Dog? Leaning on a Lampost?
Who let the dogs out?

U2 with a solo from Bonio?

PearlClutch · 17/07/2022 18:46

Delighted to help with a playlist.

'Dog Days Are Over' Florence and the Machine
Anything by Snoop Doggy Dog
'Hound Dog' by Elvis
'Bird Dog' by Everly Brothers

I love dogs and I like dancing. I’m not quite sure how I could dance with my dog though. He is no Pudsey and I’m certainly no Ashleigh. I guess I’ll just have to contend myself with meeting other people with dogs down the park or on the beach like a normal person.

Confused I was listening to Claudia on Saturday morning radio 2 while at work - rarely but fairly sure that's who it was. She apparently does a 10:00 news - what's your 10:00 news type thing.

Lady came on to say she had been on a date with her dog .......
Taken her dog on a date - is what I thought she meant ? Ok ish ?
But no,
She goes out for meals NYE etc with the dog , 7 course dinner etc where they were moved to a separate room in the restaurant due to the dog going .....

Oh I heard that too. When she said she took her dog on a date I initially thought she meant that when she went in a date with a man, she popped her little dog in her handbag and took him along. But no....... weird or what!

I don't think anyone would want my dog at a doggy disco - he would be very confused and run around barking. He has a very high pitched bark.

Harridance · 17/07/2022 19:26

If you like dancing and you like dogs then why not?

Music does help distress dogs actually.

I think that is what people are worried about, Op.

Smartiepants79 · 17/07/2022 19:30

I think I’ve actually heard it all now.
Dogs are NOT people.
For the love of god please start remembering this fact.

My little Lhasa dances on her hind legs but for food as craps not music.

HeArInGhandsgirl11 · 17/07/2022 21:49

My dog would be fuming 😬

mrsjoyfulprizeforraffiawork · 17/07/2022 22:03

I started dancing to some music on my radio yesterday morning and my dog, who had gone back to bed for another snooze under my duvet, slid her top half into view upside down to see what was happening and joined in by waving her front legs in the air to join in the spirit of the moment. But I don't suppose she would get out of bed for a disco.

I assume this is a typo but
My dog would get nothing out of a dog disco at all so I wouldnt take him
