Where to start?

I am a bit of a communist at heart so I would ban poverty

Boxowine · 15/07/2022 00:39

The Kardashians

Bunty55 · 15/07/2022 00:40

I would ban Rod Stewart from performing ever again

WayDownIGo · 15/07/2022 00:40

Non AIBU AIBUs Wink

Labourious · 15/07/2022 00:43

I'm not sure if this counts as "banning" but I was stuck in a multiple-hour barely-moving traffic jam on the M25 today and I'd like the ability to shoot lasers from my eyes at drivers who speed down the hard shoulder with their hazards on to duck back in at the start of the queue and drivers who non-stop switch lanes slowing everyone down (and don't even get themselves anywhere any faster) because they have no skills in basic comprehension.

RooniIWazlib · 15/07/2022 00:44

I'd ban threads that are dog whistles to goady fuckers who like to hijack light-hearted threads.

GCHeretic · 15/07/2022 00:46

“Athleisure” wear on anyone who’s not going to a gym, coming back from a gym, or in a gym, and who has clearly never been to a gym.

How would you know if they've "clearly never been to a gym"? 🙄Just say "fat" when you mean "fat" - and plenty of fat people go to the gym.

LoonyIdea · 15/07/2022 00:56

vaping.

You seem confused here, you don’t get to tell other posters how to post.

OuttaBabylon · 15/07/2022 00:59

Skinny jeans

No one said fat except you though.
I know a few skinny school mums who are always in athleisure yet never go to the gym.
I know as they say so.

WinterMusings · 15/07/2022 00:59

Goady, judgemental fuckers who think us fatties shouldn't be allowed to wear comfortable clothing.

Treesandsheepeverywhere · 15/07/2022 01:01

I would ban playing music on speaker on public transport. Also, calls, videos etc. Wear your earphones!!

Noisy lawn mowers. Yes, I realise they are all noisy but if we can have silent cars then why not silent lawn mowers?

ThreeLittleDots · 15/07/2022 01:03

Surnames
Unlicensed animal sales
Unregulated rent prices
Hitting children

BeerPongChampion · 15/07/2022 01:03

Smooth peanut butter. If it didn’t exist, I wouldn’t have ordered the wrong one on my shopping, and would have had the nice crunchy stuff I like on my toast earlier!

Scented sanitary protection. That can fuck right off.

Blended families. 😬

Nospringchickendipper · 15/07/2022 01:04

Chewing gum. Sick of seeing pavements covered in it .

saltinesandcoffeecups · 15/07/2022 01:05

I would ban posters who turn every thread into their cause of the day.

oh and people who are constantly negative…

“oh I saw a beautiful sunset yesterday”
”You know there are Mongolian tree frogs that were wiped out during a sunset… why do you hate Mongolian tree frogs?”

MrsTerryPratchett · 15/07/2022 01:09

Light-hearted: fucking coriander, just the disgusting leaves.

Not light-hearted; self-serving, adversarial politics. If we all just discussed, found agreement and worked together we could get most things sorted out.

SomePosters · 15/07/2022 01:10

People outsourcing their moral reasoning to church or state instead of taking responsibility for their decisions

ie doing a thing because it’s right not because you may be caught not doing it/need to be been seen to do it

Surnames is an interesting one.

Bunty55 · 15/07/2022 01:20

Politicians who have second jobs/employ family/make false expenses claims/tell lies... I know the last one is a big ask
