This is how, when you come into an established or long thread, you can read any updates or extra information that the OP might have added, before you say your piece. Just tap on 'see all' which I've circled on the photo.

You can't do that if you're using the app.

Oh, sorry, maybe you mean with the app. I use a browser either on my laptop or my phone.

I can do it on the App there is a filter at the top and you can pick the OP.

All other posters can't be filtered on unless premium but the OP can.

Unfortunately (and this is also for @ShaunaTheSheep ) many posters don't. And the long threads over the last day or so have demonstrated that irritatingly well.

If I could edit my post, I'd thank those who already know, for not scattering irritating posts around long threads. Pleas accept my rather tardy thanks both of you.

On my thread on 'site stuff' where I've asked MNHQ to make the 'see all' feature more obvious (and they've said they look into it) I've now asked them to look at the app too.

I love it because you can tell instantly if an OP has returned or not so I don't spend ages reading a thread that has no updates.

I wish they would put a limit on the number of quotes in a single post. These quoting upon quoting upon quoting upon quoting and then the post is getting a bit ridiculous. And confusing.

I do agree that there is a lot of posting where people have not checked for updates. It is a bit irritating to see someone give a piece of irrelevant advice sometimes several days after the OP has resolved her issue.

That's only one desktop. If you use an app most features aren't available. Including messaging.
