Sweaty patch on seats

Can we please normalise the sweaty patch on seats when you get up? It always happens to me and I am mortified every single time. Surely others experience this?!

Yup. "Leather" seats can burn in hell.

You have to do the side swipe before standing up

At the gym after exercise? At work after sitting down for a bit? At the pub?

I think it depends! At the gym I'd expect it totally (and expect people to wipe it down), haven't really noticed it anywhere else! Tbh I'd not bat an eyelid if someone cleaned it up, perhaps if they just left it for someone else to sit in it'd be a bit ugh! Just do the leg side swipe 😂

At school we all perfected the forward slide and stand. It was everyone's move.

What's seats does this happen on? Other than leather if you're in shorts!

27 years old and never experienced this. I always wear pants and trousers so not sure how any sweat would get to the seat?

Church hall type moulded plastic seats are the key culprits.
Juts have a wriggle every so often and it wipes it.

At work I sit on my cardi to prevent it.

It happens on most things I sit on and I’ve got trousers on and a panty liner! I do the shuffle along but I get paranoid I look like a dog scooting it’s arse across the carpet 😂😂

Oh my god I thought you were the nurse from yesterday starting a thread about me. It was ages in a plastic chair and I was extremely anxious! I did have to find something in my bag before I left so I could swipe it about but I think she saw.

Oh my god thankyou.. I thought I was odd. Mainly happens on plastic chairs. I rhink it's definitely minge mist as I've started wearing panty liners and it doesn't happen anymore 😆
But before that I did the subtle swipe..

OP has this started since you've started using the panty liners or is it the reason you started using them? I ask because I've just realised that I sweat more when using sanitary products so they might not be helping!

I'm always scared I've got a wet bum afterwards....surely if seat is wet my trousers would be?!

I thought it was just me! Those plastic moulded chairs are definitely the worst for this - yy to sitting on your coat or cardi. Must remember the sideways swipe - or maybe I’ll just embrace it and start carrying around a roll of kitchen towel and a bottle of Cillit Bang.

I don't get the gusset bit though, doesn't your gusset face sort of forwards when you sit?

And if you're sweating through pants, liners, trousers, don't you have a wet patch on your clothes?
