To update about The Family Sex Show

There are active two threads on this in Feminism but I feel I just have to update here for traffic. Although protests appear to have, for now, stopped the theatre production going ahead, new and highly disturbing material has today appeared on their webpage, clearly aimed at children. It (cheerily and breezily) suggests, among other things, that children search for images of masturbating animals on the internet and then draw what they see. I am not going to Google that term, I really don't want that in my history, but first, can you imagine what children will be exposed to if they search that, and second, this is pure and simple grooming of children into being abused. Masturbating animals? What larks! Lets have an arts and crafts session about it! Next steps: Masturbating with Uncle Jim? Why not? Masturbating Uncle Jim? Of course!

I have now made a complaint to CEOP. Others may wish to as well.

For those who don’t go on the feminism boards, what is even more concerning is that the group behind this show are going into schools teaching sex Ed.
Quite a few schools in Greenwich for anyone who lives in that area.

Hang on wasn't this posted to AIBU the other day? Does anyone know? There were a lot of comments saying it was scaremongering? I think there was a map posted showing what areas they were visiting schools in.

I don't think children are the only people being groomed. Boundaries have been pushed for many years now and the public are being expected to accept more and more depravity and 'kink'. Lines are purposely blurred and the people doing this are very strategic and determined. For the police not to have addressed this so called show and seen to it that it's completely shut down seems rather surprising. The paedophile won't be bothered, they'll just continue on their path. MPs need to get involved and discuss some new Laws I think. This needs to be cracked down on right now.

Individuals may be gromed as a result of this material, and probably already are being. But the wider, and fully intended effect, is societal grooming regarding the normalisation of child sexual abuse.

If I don't get anything useful from CEOP I will do a bit of digging and report to the local polce wherever this company is based.

Kids do not need to know about sex beyond where babies come from and roughly how it happens. Anything else is unnecessary. Anything in the knickers/pants remains private at all times unless there's a medical problem.

In the picture shown on this thread the actors are at least dressed. I am pretty sure that on one of the FWR threads it was noted that at certain parts of the show actors may decide to strip naked, as the desire takes them, (My words, not surprisingly I don’t think there was any actual talk of desire in the theatre co blurb)
