Just as the title says.

Noah Donohoe disappeared coming home from school, his body was found in a storm drain without his clothes.

His mother can not get answers on why the police decided, immediately that there was no four play and us being blocked from seeing 4 files by the police.

She says On the day Noah was found, before Noah was formally identified, the Police did a media release stating that there was ‘No Foul Play’ involved.I ask, if the police are so sure that ‘No Foul Play’ was involved, why are the police now trying to stop me, as Noah’s mummy, getting four files of information on Noah’s investigation?

Surely I am not unreasonable to think this isn't ok and that most of use would want to know what had happened to our child?

This is an overview of what has happened so far.

@TheRealMrsMac

It is nearly two years since Noah died *@lameasahorse* and it seems that you have an awful lot of catching up to do before posting on this thread claiming 'no foul play.'
💯 👏

@lameasahorse

I am sorry, but I can't see anything suspicious except for the public interest immunity.
See above.

Perhaps you should follow Fiona Donohoe on Twitter and you may learn more about Noah’s case and why she is asking for support to get truth.

Her, her solicitor and her barrister feel that there are several suspicious circumstances around Noah’s disappearance and death.

I would hope that you have not come to this thread in an attempt to derail it. People are here to support Fiona Donohoe and to raise awareness about Noah’s case and the unanswered questions surrounding it.

I'm going to be very kind to you and handle this with gentle amusement, because I'm aware of a thread you have running at the moment and want to give you the benefit of the doubt in the circumstances, unless/until MNHQ tell me otherwise:

Should've gone to Specsavers.

Ok, I will humour you.

  1. No CCTV footage available from Great Victoria Street (the alleged blind spot /area of investment) poor policing
  2. No forensics done on Daryl Paul's appartment he had no involvement directly with Noah
  3. Changing of timing four times allowing no time for person(s) telling Noah to strip time stamps on cameras
  4. No identification of two men in cul-de-sac, no cordoning of street, crime scene not contained, clothes left in unsealed bag, bike left, no fingerprinting of laptop, no houses searched poor policing/they expected him to turn up
  5. Possible collusion 'Father's Day prank' reasoning between two eyewitnesses
  6. Racist minority within that loyalist stronghold and prior sectarian attack on Flynn Maguire coincidental
  7. 16cm injury to Noah's head/side of face yet no foul play announced from the start fall but no concussion
  8. Noah's supposed knowledge of an unlocked storm drain in an area unknown to him, climbing naked over barbed wire, voluntarily going into pitch-black drain, no reconstruction ever done
  9. Water sample request 27.6 never taken poor policing
10. Criminal A's alleged confession of bathtub then paramilitaries' disposal of body inmate showing off/fiction 11. Rumour - Thurs, paramilitaries told to hand over body Fri - body found in storm drain hearsay/stirring/anti-protestant

Even if you put some of it down to poor policing in a Missing Child Model then, for me, you still have 5 and 8.
But mainly 8.
No reason for a child to go into the drain unless they were hiding/desperate to evade person(s) chasing them.
If they were hiding from attackers in pursuit, the latter are as responsible as whoever left the drain open.
Not misadventure and certainly, not suicide. Now tell me, a a Mum, you would accept the latter if every bone in your body told you otherwise?

TheRealMrsMac · 16/04/2022 19:49

No one is interested when someone speaks the truth.
You see, you've gone a bit far with this now, and I do question your motives for posting, lameasahorse.

New posters are very, very welcome on the thread. Those asking questions and looking into things are also welcome. But you're claiming to be 'telling the truth' and to know the definitive answer about what happened to Noah, based on a bit of googling and a bit of reddit/twitter reading. This does not make you an expert. Noah's mummy has an expert legal team and others helping with a high level of specialist knowledge over nearly two years of careful investigations. It is interesting that you want to spend your time at this moment in your life pushing the 'no foul play' narrative of the PSNI.

Believe me, we want to hear the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, nobody more so than Fiona, Noah's grieving mummy. Somehow, I just don't think your 'truth' is it.

Jamboree01 · 16/04/2022 19:52

Imagine having to listen to this type of information from a detective chief superintendent as a mum…

Aibu to think if the worst happened and your child died in mysterious circumstances you should have a right to know what happened.
TheRealMrsMac · 16/04/2022 20:09

have come across a few families who are looking for explanations of what is simply tragic accidents.
You want to put it down to a grieving family unable to accept the truth, lameasahorse? It's not just the family. Not forgetting the legal team and other experts, Noah's case has attracted the support and interest, amongst others, of Doreen Lawrence, now Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon and DCI Clive Driscoll who helped to finally secure convictions for the murder of her son Stephen.

Perhaps you will watch the investigative documentary about Noah when it comes out too.

I wasn't aware of this horrific story.

Rest in peace Noah, until your mum can hold you again 💙

It sounds as if the police handling of it, including liaison, has been a clusterfuck jamboree That was clear from the podcast, that communications were lacking and insensitive. To be relieved that you hear the worst from a medium rather than the police, as they were so cold in their dealings with you, is an indictment in itself.

At best, we could hope for ineptitude. Personally, I don’t believe that is the case- far from it.

Yes, Fiona saying that about the medium will always stay with me. She didn’t want to hear it from the PSNI.

It gets worse and worse at every turn 💔

excelledyourself · 16/04/2022 20:43

@TheRealMrsMac absolutely

MadeForThis · 16/04/2022 22:25

I have followed this from the start and there has always been something wrong about the investigation.

Most people in NI heard that Noah was missing on Facebook, there were no public appeals for days. Searches were organised on Facebook, no mainstream media carried the story until days into the search.

From Day One the investigation was shockingly inept. Whatever the truth turns out to be, Fiona deserves to know what happened to her son. And she deserves an explanation as to why she has had to fight against the PSNI instead of being supported by them.

RIP Noah.

TheRealMrsMac · 16/04/2022 23:49

Noah's auntie Niamh Donohoe on Twitter:

'Justice for Noah is why we fight. We also fight in the hope that NO other family and child ever have to suffer as we do. The only people that can really make change are ordinary people like us, together.'

Please sign the petition or sign and share if you can, and don't forget to confirm your signature for it to count.

As you'll pick up from reading the thread, posting on the thread and bumping it if it's not showing in Active is also a big help. Unusually, frustratingly and unfortunately, the algorithms for this thread mean that it takes 5 posts before it appears in Active so that people will see it, and then blink and you miss it.

The link to the petition is in the OP of this thread:
