Just that really? We are still having to wear masks all day in work...anyone else?

Donatella · 12/03/2022 19:16

I'd guess the whole of the NHS...

Darkstar4855 · 12/03/2022 19:18

Yes - NHS.

Madwife123 · 12/03/2022 19:18

Yep NHS staff, nothing has changed for me. FFP3 mask for 12 hours as always.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 12/03/2022 19:19

We're still not allowed back in the office so you're still ahead of where we are!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 12/03/2022 19:19

No, not in my NHS office, but out in the hospital where there are patients.

Squirrelblanket · 12/03/2022 19:20

My work have just announced that we won't have to wear them from 1 April. I work in an office.

pinkhousesarebest · 12/03/2022 19:20

God wish I didn’t have to chuck my masks on Monday ( France).

Jenasaurus · 12/03/2022 19:20

Yes, like others have said NHS. I work from home but my employer is an NHS ambulance trust so if I go on to any of the sites or ambulance stations like I did last week I have to wear a mask inside.

corlan · 12/03/2022 19:21

Yes- library.

Bluelillies · 12/03/2022 19:21

We give ours up Monday-none of us can wait but management are a bit pissed off about it
I think they’d keep us masked up forever

FlorhamPark · 12/03/2022 19:23

No and we have been in throughout and never worn them.

BashfulClam · 12/03/2022 19:24

Yes as we are in Scotland.

Pumpfive · 12/03/2022 19:25

Depends where you work I guess. With vulnerable people? I'd say fair enough. Shops? Potentially yes. In an office, I'd say they could come off really. Or personal choice.

cariadlet · 12/03/2022 19:30

I teach in a primary school. We've never worn masks to teach and a couple of weeks ago we were told that we no longer have to wear masks in shared areas.

I'm the only person still wearing mine. I'm fed up of this government gaslighting the country into believing that the pandemic is over.

Changethetoner · 12/03/2022 19:32

Yes, Scotland has not lifted this restriction yet.

nocoolnamesleft · 12/03/2022 19:34

Of course. Masks. Visors for face to face where covid status unknown. FFP2 masks for outbreak areas. LFTs before shifts. NHS.

Looubylou · 12/03/2022 19:36

NHS - base is not in an NHS building, and completely non clinical base. We have to wear one to walk around and if within one metre of anyone , when seated. The L/A staff wear them when walking around the building too.

theglitch · 12/03/2022 19:36

"I'm fed up of this government gaslighting the country into believing that the pandemic is over."

Agreed, it's understandable but weird how it's being done.

MagentaRocks · 12/03/2022 19:38

Yes. Police. We have to wear them when walking around. Even if we didn't have to I still would. Never stopped wearing them in shops.

Essexgirlupnorth · 12/03/2022 19:52

Yes NHS we aren't patient facing and the trust have said we don't have to wear masks all time but our department has told us to keep wearing them until they have consulted HR

shabbalabba · 12/03/2022 19:54

I meant to say of with the exception of hospitals etc...

OP posts:
WhatisanODP · 12/03/2022 19:55

Yup, theatres within the NHS.

VainAbigail · 12/03/2022 19:56

Yes.

Along with full PPE including eye protection (visor, goggles or plastic things on the sides of your specs if you prefer), regardless of the persons Covid status!

Kitkat151 · 12/03/2022 19:56

@ThroughThickAndThin01

No, not in my NHS office, but out in the hospital where there are patients.
We had dropped the masks in the office ( nhs community) but as of yesterday it’s masks on again ( Covid rates increasing in staff being the reason)
HRTQueen · 12/03/2022 19:56

Yes NHS

But not in all areas hardly give it a second thought now
