@TheRealityCheque

I'm amazed anyone is playing this daft game anymore.

It's now a mild-moderate cold in terms of symptoms for 99.99% of people.

Fewer people are dying of it than normally do of flu. Time to completely knock this nonsense on the head everywhere

When in lifts or moving around the building yes, but not when at desks, and in any case they are not fully occupied as we are only there two days a week.

Wheresmycider · 13/03/2022 21:49

Yep, office area of a factory. Mask can be off at desk as they are all individual perspex pods, but needs to be on when walking around or interacting with others.
It's not brilliantly policed but most are happy to stick to it for now as we have had some severe outbreaks when they attempted to relax the rules a bit.

Yes, FFP2 masks still compulsory at my workplace, as are the 3/4 times weekly PCR tests. I’m not in the UK.

There is talk of them being dropped before summer, but I will still wear mine unless testing and isolation also went. I couldn’t care less about Covid right now, but I do care about being off work for a week without pay, I can’t afford it.

It’s a little sad because I’m traveling to all these countries where masks aren’t compulsory and I’d love to keep mine off, but I can’t risk catching Covid and missing work when I’m back home…

Come on rules and pandemic, go away already!

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 13/03/2022 21:55

My office still say you need them when walking around. Waste of time now.

I've just flown to Spain and was very pleasantly surprised to find the airline had done away with masks completely. Was very liberating.

CasperGutman · 13/03/2022 22:19

Iny office (not in England) we have to wear masks in public areas buy can take them off at our desks.

I'm happy with these rules: I wouldn't want to wear a mask all day, and it would seem a bit unnecessary given how spaced out the desks are (possible because many people are still working from home). Wearing one for a fewinites at the tea point is no problem, though.

TimeForTeaAndG · 13/03/2022 22:28

Yes. In a care home.

And I'm currently on day 6 of testing positive and the first day I've not been laid on the couch. Feel like I've been hit by a train, everything is exhausting, and I've had 3 vaccine jags. Fuck knows how I'd be feeling if I hadn't any!

whenwillthemadnessend · 13/03/2022 22:35

Yes. Tourist attraction

cushioncovers · 15/03/2022 13:36

Not only are we still wearing masks (NHS) but my workplace is still enforcing 2 to a table in break areas and a maximum of 4 to a lift. It makes me absolutely furious.

^ this

Yes our nhs workplace does this but then when we see each other outside of work or give each other lifts into work it's all forgotten which seems weird.

MrsDThomas · 15/03/2022 17:46

Local and yes. What the fuck for as theres less than 50 in the office where’s there is usually over 600. Rarely see anyone other than the 4 in my room.

So i don’t wear it. Interesting to see what will happen when rules change at the end of the month.

Cos I wont be wearing one in tesco!

MrsDThomas · 15/03/2022 17:47

Local government i mean!

BatshitCrazyWoman · 15/03/2022 17:54

Yes, when not at our desks.

JustDanceAddict · 15/03/2022 19:37

No, but I have a stinking cold - first one in 2 years & household member has covid. They tested + and I’m continuing to be neg. They’re slightly more ill than me, but not much more! I am more ill than dh when he had it
