Been looking for some
Ideas where to eat when we travel to the UK from Ireland next month.
We'll be staying near Hyde Park but I'm
Stumped when it comes to finding cheap ish eats ???
Are there any??
We aren't too choosy but like the odd burger and are open to all cuisines but gosh, the prices are nuts from what I can see, online.

Go to the food hall at Selfridges - not v far from you and get some amazing food for picnic or evening from the Deli.

Also walk everywhere - weave through the back streets of Kensington, Mayfair etc and through the Royal Parks. From where you are you can do Holland Park, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (all connected) then just pop over the road to Green Park, The Mall, St James Park and on to Parliament Sq. Don’t go underground ! Boris Bikes on the back streets.

Lovely cafe in The Italian Gardens in Hyde Park.

For your evenings I would walk to Soho - do some research on the types of foods you like lots of cheap restaurants - as it will be buzzing and fun to walk around.

If you want to do some “fine dining” - many of the well known restaurants have great lunch menus which are a fraction of dinner.
