I just discovered part of another animal’s trachea under my bed pillow otherwise I would vote yes, YANBU, dog people are go. But it’s a YABU here, some dog skills don’t transfer well to the domestic environment. 😞

Probably not. I can tolerate an animal or baby pissing on my sofa, but not an adult Grin

ohhooh · 12/02/2022 15:17

Human in what way? I wouldn't want two small furry men running around and jumping on me when I sleep, but I love my cats 😂

ohhooh · 12/02/2022 15:17

Oh - and all the bum licking 😂

NuffSaidSam · 12/02/2022 15:18

No, absolutely not.

The reason we love them is because they're not human!

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 12/02/2022 15:19

Mine doesn't understand. She says she is human, look. Pls clarify?

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 12/02/2022 15:20

Photo didn't attach... 😬

BrennieGirl · 12/02/2022 15:22

Jesus no. I wouldn't put up with someone as smelly, farty, with such bad table manners. Not to mention leaving mucky paw prints on my duvet.

seekinglondonlife · 12/02/2022 15:22

If my pet was a human he'd be in prison for DV.

WhatTheWhoTheWhatThe · 12/02/2022 15:22

Mine was laying on his back legs akimbo on the last night while I cut dried poo out of his butt hair so no no I wouldn’t love a human enough to do this or love a human that has dried poo in his butt hair

TheCanyon · 12/02/2022 15:25

The gecko is currently in his/her bed shedding. No persons gonna be peeling off and eating their skin in my bed. Dh gets in trouble for rubbing his dry scalp while on the sofa Angry

coronafiona · 12/02/2022 15:25

No.

That is such a lovely person! 🐾

One of mine ate a dead rotting animal (probably a squirrel) for breakfast on our walk this morning and followed it up with a mouthful of some variety of poo a few minutes later. When I yelled at him, he licked his chops guiltily and his tongue was BROWN.

The other one is super snuggly but sheds constantly and rolls in fox poo as often as he can find it.

I love them dearly but I would not allow any human who behaved like this to live in my house.

RealBecca · 12/02/2022 15:27

My pet is demanding and somehow simultaneously needy and aloof. Not what id want in a human!

Flippanty · 12/02/2022 15:35

Absolutely not, shitting and vomiting all over the house. Shouting ‘I want more food, I want more food!’ outside the bedroom door or lying directly on top of me when I’m trying to sleep. Stinking the place out, tearing up the post, getting footprints everywhere, screaming and jumping on top of me when I come through the door, stealing the baby’s food. I’d think they were the lodgers from hell!

giveyou2reasons · 12/02/2022 15:35

They wouldn't be as cute and adorable if they were human, and I'd resent their annoying behaviours and having to pick up their droppings and clean up after them, to be completely honest.

However, if they were as dependent on me as my dogs are, and as overjoyed to be near me every day, even when I'm in a foul mood... I'd feel guilty and probably still care for them in return. It would be a love/hate relationship, which is sometimes already is... Or maybe more love/frustration.

ForTheHorde · 12/02/2022 15:38

One is a needy fucker following me around the house desperate for attention, is desperately jealous and has a vendetta against my son the other constantly whinges that he’s hungry but refused to act like other cats and go find his own snacks in between meals.

I’d definitely be in the LTBs camp.

Porcupineintherough · 12/02/2022 15:40

Hell no! One of them is a greedy pudding who lives to eat and sleep and the other one is a compulsive sex pest on the lookout for a fight. That's fine and normal behaviour in tortoises but it wouldnt translate well in humans.

WhatsitWiggle · 12/02/2022 15:43

I love my cat but she spends 90% of her time asleep on the windowsill, bed or sofa, and 10% demanding food and attention. Fine trait in a cat but would make for one lazy-arsed human.

PurrBox · 12/02/2022 15:44

The sound of my cats eating is like the most beautiful sounds of nature. Any human eating noises drive me into a frenzy of rage (misophonia).

One of my cats is quite a strict disciplinarian, often slapping or biting my ankles when I am disobedient. I wouldn't tolerate that from any human under any circumstances!

Papergirl1968 · 12/02/2022 15:45

Goodness, Jesus, your dog looks like she has a pregnant human belly! Is she expecting a baby? Like a real human baby, not a puppy?! Or is it just the angle?

feelsobadfeltsogood · 12/02/2022 15:46

Pets on beds are totally unhygienic 🤢

7eleven · 12/02/2022 15:48

💯 I’d love my cat. She’s nosy and would love a good chinwag. She’d have to do something about her flatulence though.

bert3400 · 12/02/2022 15:48

God No way, one of mine is a big greedy fat lump who farts constantly , the other one is a cunt and barks at her own reflection constantly. They would be out of here if they were human but they are my dogs and for some strange reason I love them Grin

MargotMoon · 12/02/2022 15:49

Fucking hell, no. I'm basically in an abusive relationship with my cat. He attacks me (bites) multiple times a day and goes from being needy and demanding to flouncing off in a heartbeat. Obviously pesters me for food and physical affection all the time too but never gives me any in return and does NOTHING around the house except create mess and sleeps all day.

If I posted about him on here as if he was a DP I'd have been told to LTB by everyone. "But I love him!" I would protest...
