Especially as the old man character…

His girlfriend is really young.

I actually think he's one of the least creepy children's entertainers I've seen. He really seems to care about children and I think he seems really lovely on Something Special.

I always quite liked something special although yeah, found his grandad tumble character a bit ... Creepy. And I hate gigglebiz, find it so annoying. Like little Britain for kid.

Well, report him to the police on the incontrovertible evidence of your ‘spidey senses’. A man you’ve never met but have taken against.

@Egod222 you have said exactly what I've been thinking all these past years! My Children are all Teenagers now but when they were younger and use to watch Mr Tumble he use to give creepy vibes and I don't know why but use to remind me of Jimmy Saville too.

Hi @Tibtab can I just ask how your little ones speech delay is now? Do they know why they had one? I am concerned my 18 month old has one xx

Mister Tumble is great. I genuinely enjoyed Giggle bits (or whatever it was called) when my kids were younger, and he seems really nice with the kids, don't find him creepy at all.

nonmerci99 · 01/09/2023 16:30

Justin and his many shows are absolutely insufferable, but my toddler loves him.

I think he's brilliant and one of the few male children's entertainers that I actually DON'T get a creepy vibe from.
He deserves more praise for what he has done for children's entertainment and especially for his work with/for disabled children.
My DC ranging from 6-1 year olds love him and his programs (especially the 2 new seasons of Justin's house) and I think it's harmless silly entertainment (again compared to my 6 year old watching YouTube!)
I think it's highly unfair that people acuse him of being creepy seemingly purely based on the fact he's an older not conventially attractive single man. Like previous posters said if he looked like Tom Hardy etc noone would make the same comments.

I had to check my old message to see where my DD was at. She’s 3.5 now and you wouldn’t even know she had been speech delayed. Her pronunciation isn’t perfect but I can’t get her to stop talking now.

She had lots of intervention and 1:1 at nursery but it seemed like she just needed a bit of time. My second DD is almost 2 and they are completely different.

They both love Mr Tumble still!

WhereHaveAllTheMooncupsGone · 02/09/2023 21:33

No he isn't creepy at all, just supremely irritating!
