I gather that the USA does employ women coal miners.

In the UK, all the deep mines have shut so they don't employ anyone anymore. I am not sure what is happening with the proposed mine in Cumbria.

I think that depends on the magnitude of the events. It took my parents until about 1960 to finally put the War to rest. Similarly Maggie Thatcher and the Closure of the mines, Blair and Iraq.

I think the long term impacts of the pandemic are only just becoming clear for many people, and they won’t forget.

I also think that even if he hadn’t treated the electorate like fools, many will want to move on, and have a fresh start. I suspect that is also delaying some leadership campaigns - better to let him struggle on for a bit longer through the NI increase, cost of living crisis etc. than to be tainted by association.

Let's see the unredacted Grey report sharpish and we can decide precisely just what needs to be forgiven.

But Boris hasn't done anything wrong, so why does anyone think he needs to be forgiven?

It’s real a shame you didn’t put those dates in your initial post on this topic.

If you had done so it wouldn’t have looked as if you were trying to give the misleading and incorrect impression that France had never had a working Covid tracing app….

Christian forgiveness doesn't stop people having to pay for crimes. We don't just forgive thieves or murderers or anyone else who has committed a crime and let them off a sentence.

So everyone that got fined for breaking lockdown will be forgiven if Bojo gets off for it? I think that's fair. Because, let's face it, Bojo et al won't get done for breaking the very rules HE STIPULATED.
