Part 4

Possibly I’m being too kind in my interpretation of Cameron and Blair’s feelings Grin, but I think they would have both tried to be seen as thinking that way, even if it wasn’t wholly from the heart.

For over a week?

Johnson then goes onto lie about 40 new hospitals.

Nonsense, when I put new laces in my shoes I have completely new shoes and count them as such.

So...

Do we think the report will be out tomorrow?
What time will it be published?
Will it be redacted with black markers or just a slimmed down version?
Will Johnson go to Ukraine on the day it comes out?

Yes. Do you doubt this happened? It was well reported. Is google failing you today?

10 days in the case of my daughter, now treating people like you and me in the NHS and for added thanks, Bozo will give her an effective pay cut as he has frozen the loans threshold.

No wonder the NHS is losing staff in droves, with approx 50% actively seeking to leave.

FatFredsFriedEgg · 30/01/2022 19:15

An hour would have been bad enough under the circumstances.

Security guards and fences preventing you leaving your home, in the UK, while the Prime Minister goes to parties.

Pff.

Clavinova · 30/01/2022 19:17

And what do you think of Joe Biden's Covid response with 900,000 deaths? What a disaster he turned out to be.

I remember those poor kids at Man Met with signs in their window saying 'help me!' Makes me fume

I wasn't confident enough about the extent to say it and be proved wrong but I also remembered 10 days.

Are you saying there have been 900,000 deaths in the US since Biden became President @Clavinova?

I remember seeing this report -

Nov 2020
Students have torn down "prison-like" fencing erected around their campus on day one of England's new lockdown.

Those living at the University of Manchester's Fallowfield halls of residence awoke to find workers putting up "huge metal barriers".

They were eventually pulled down as hundreds of students - who said they were not warned about the measure - protested.

The university apologised "for the concern and distress caused".

It insisted the fencing was not intended to prevent students from entering or exiting the site but to address security concerns, "particularly about access by people who are not residents".

Clavinova · 30/01/2022 19:24

Are you saying there have been 900,000 deaths in the US since Biden became President

No - but the death rate per million population was lower than the UK under Donald Trump and higher than the UK under Joe Biden.

Thankfully we're not in the USA and dealing with demented Trump-ists so who the hell cares about Biden?

Maybe someone who's paid to troll influence forums in both the US and the UK would care more about US politics than the average UK MNer though. There's a thought.

What's their death rate per 1m. You have to compared apples with apples
FatFredsFriedEgg · 30/01/2022 19:26

@Clavinova

Are you saying there have been 900,000 deaths in the US since Biden became President

No - but the death rate per million population was lower than the UK under Donald Trump and higher than the UK under Joe Biden.

Isn't that because we became an early epicentre, like Italy did?

So @Clavinova by saying "And what do you think of Joe Biden's Covid response with 900,000 deaths?" you were you being deliberately misleading?

As you've raised the matter of USA CV deaths, on thread about Boris Johnson, perhaps you can tell me how many occurred under Trump and under Biden?

Then we can compare Boris vs Joe

Have I understood correctly that what you are trying to say is that in 2020 Boris "we got all the big decisions right" Johnson's leadership led to more deaths per million of the population than in a country where the leader thought that drinking bleach was a good solution?

Peter Stefanovic hasn't even checked his facts properly - e.g. he claims that there was a 'working' Covid tracing app in Poland in June 2020 - and yet by September 2020 only 1.9% of the population in Poland had downloaded the app.

notesfrompoland.com/2020/09/11/uptake-of-covid-contact-tracing-app-under-2-in-poland-among-the-lowest-rates-in-europe/

Gosh. I wonder what the 2nd wave was like in the US and the UK in 2021 when Biden became President.

Many countries had severe 2nd waves. More severe than the first .

I guess you knew that.
