DH dogwalks with another woman

AIBU to not want my DH to disappear on a sunday moring with a female colleague, who is also married. This happens intermittently. He never says in advance that he's going but always admits where he's been. Plus his phone always tells me where he is. Am I being paranoid? Last week he said he wanted to give me a lie in. Late evening (11.30 pm) she WhatsApp him to thank him for the walk.

I find it quite funny that women are posting they are happy for DH to fuck off on a dog walk with female colleague. Are you at home cooking and putting the washing on and looking after his children? Or are you out with a male colleague having fun out of work?

@IWantMoreStationery are you seriously saying that you only ever go for a walk if your partner goes too?
Do you never have time by yourself or with a friend?

I find that really sad actually.

Stravaig · 23/01/2022 21:11

@IWantMoreStationery "Are you married?"

Relevance?

slaybellsringing · 23/01/2022 21:11

There's no chance my husband would ever go for a walk with another woman he wasn't related to by blood.
And at least 25% shared gene pool at that. 😂

slaybellsringing · 23/01/2022 21:12

And by 'would' I mean 'allowed' obviously 😂

IWantMoreStationery · 23/01/2022 21:12

I wonder how many of the "You are so paranoid gang are single"?

Simonjt · 23/01/2022 21:12

@IWantMoreStationery

I can honestly say that looking at my circle of friends. I have lots. Nobodies Husbands are dog walking with colleges. They are all quite happy enjoying life with their family.
I’m not sure anyone walks with a college.

Are you married? If so, how do you have friends if you can’t see them unless the wholw family joins.

RedskyThisNight · 23/01/2022 21:18

I always think these threads are a little bit pointless. The reality is that no one on here (unless someone is the DH or the colleague) knows the truth.

so there are 2 options

  1. Something is going on, in which case the marriage is doomed OR
  2. Nothing is going on but OP clearly doesn't trust her DH anyway, in which case the marriage is doomed.

Up to OP to consider why she distrusts her DH really. Is it just the dog-walking?

WomanStanleyWoman · 23/01/2022 21:19

Jesus Christ. If I was the husband, I’d ask for a divorce.

I'm not sad. I go for walks with my female friends whilst Husband is golfing. I have a lot of female friends as I'm very popular. I couldn't fit a male colleague into my life. I work with a lot of males but they are also busy spending spare time with their family. So I feel sad for you.
IWantMoreStationery · 23/01/2022 21:21

WonderfulYou

I think you misunderstood.

Simonjt · 23/01/2022 21:24

So @IWantMoreStationery feels sad for people who spend time with their friends rather than their husband, yet she goes on walks with her friends while her husband isn’t there and he goes off without her and plays golf. If you feel sad people aren’t spending spare time with family, that means you clearly feel sad you aren’t spending your spare time with your family.

Itloggedmeoutagain · 23/01/2022 21:27

Just got new dog
Better make sure I don't arrange to go walking with a man and better make sure to tell my husband exactly where I'm going so that when he checks my phone it matches

IWantMoreStationery · 23/01/2022 21:30

Why are you getting upset?

I do not want to dog walk with colleagues (not with colleges). I think it is very sad if you do. I have lots of Friends as does my Husband but we prefer spending time with each other at the weekend. If this is too hard to understand you are either thick or jealous. We are not walking with work colleagues we are either fucking; cooking or seeing family. Monday comes around fast.

I’m not entirely sure why you think I’m upset.

No, not thick, not jealous, I would never want to be married to a golf bore, or someone who felt sorry for people who weren’t a carbon copy of them, I also wouldn’t want to be married with someone who doesn’t like their husband having or socialising with friends.

WomanStanleyWoman · 23/01/2022 21:33

@IWantMoreStationery - I would seriously consider professional help.

Why?

IWantMoreStationery · 23/01/2022 21:37

Simonjt

I just don't see my colleagues like that and neither does my Husband. We do have lots of friends and we wouldn't have time to fit colleagues in. As for a golf bore?

IWantMoreStationery · 23/01/2022 21:40

Did I touch a nerve?

I just don't think you are.

pilates · 23/01/2022 21:48

Op, I apologise if this has been covered but why aren’t you dog walking with your husband on a Sunday morning?

WomanStanleyWoman · 23/01/2022 21:52

No - I just think you’re certifiable.
WonderfulYou · 23/01/2022 21:53

I work with a lot of males but they are also busy spending spare time with their family.

Why is your husband not spending time with his family then?

WomanStanleyWoman · 23/01/2022 21:54

We do have lots of friends and we wouldn't have time to fit colleagues in.

It is possible to be friends with a colleague.

Sometimes the dog needs to be out of the way to do a decent clean Sometimes I do it. Sometimes he does
