To think Boris should be fired/resign over this

170,000 people dead.

People couldn’t visit loved ones in hospital on their deathbed.

People couldn’t attend funerals of their family.

All of us had to put up with Xmas without our friends and family.

And these knob heads had a party. Absolute joke

Yup hopefully he’s a goner

MelonTits · 08/12/2021 19:46

YANBU but many people will fall before he does

MostNamesAreTaken · 08/12/2021 19:54

Is there any serious suggestion he was at the alleged party? Surely the main implication is that he had no control/awareness of what his staff were up to. That is pretty poor, but probably isn't the worst thing he has done. Which admittedly is a low bar to judge him on.

There was an "alleged" party at his flat? How would he not know.
overthethamesfromyou · 08/12/2021 19:57

It wasn't in his flat Smile

10 Downing Street is mostly offices and reception rooms!

the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 20:00

It won't happen .. yet
One day it will , but not because of this

prynaithda21 · 08/12/2021 20:02

Not fired.

Imprisoned. I have opposed the death penalty all my life which is why I would want life imprisonment.

Harold Shipman's actions led to less older people needlessly dying than Boris Johnson's.

BlowDryRat · 08/12/2021 20:03

YANBU but resigning would take an iota of integrity.

DrManhattan · 08/12/2021 20:03

I feel like I'm watching a live action episode of in the Thick of It.

AuntMasha · 08/12/2021 20:07

I don’t understand how he can be so clearly dishonest and incompetent, yet still have more resilience than a cockroach during a nuclear winter.

lemmein · 08/12/2021 20:09

It's the sheer arrogance of him that really pisses me off! He knows we know he's lying - he doesn't give a fuck, in fact he looked exasperated throughout the press conference that he was even being questioned on it. I despise him, and his cronies - they should be in prison for the contract scandal alone, never mind resign.

There is no way that a Christmas party was held without his authorisation - he's the boss who lives in the fucking building - nobody is going to go against the rules, under his nose, without his knowledge and permission.

Sick of the sight of him - disgusting man!

Freddiefox · 08/12/2021 20:12

I worry about who comes next.. each one seems worse than the one before

Freddiefox · 08/12/2021 20:13

That’s not to say he shouldn’t go, of course he should be he won’t. Not until the next one is ready

prynaithda21 · 08/12/2021 20:14

@Freddiefox I know it will be a Tory. I never vote for them but know it will be someone who actually works full-time, and has some morals. Someone who can answer the simple question of how many children they have.

the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 20:15

The devil takes care of his own ..
It's the only answer I have.

Happygirl79 · 08/12/2021 20:18

Boris is a shameless disrespectful liar.
Unless the party decide to give him a vote of no confidence we're stuck with him until the next election because no way he has the integrity to stand down

scully29 · 08/12/2021 20:24

he should have resigned a long time ago. Its disgusting.

Nayday · 08/12/2021 20:24

A.Doesn't know if there was a party - incompetent

B. Knew there was a party - liar and incompetent

Chucks Allegra under a bus - not a big enough political scalp Boris.

Allegra - pull the rug out from under your former boss. Because that "glowing" speech from him about amazing you were at your job (which you clearly negotiated in return for being chucked under said bus) - quite frankly shouldn't be enough.

Though I'm sure he promised you'll be back in some kind of government job, quietly within just a year or 2. Just like a gap year really.

What a joke this government is.

the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 20:26

Allegra was a saint , according to Boris
Tells me all I need to know.

OldaRailer · 08/12/2021 20:26

I wish someone would heckle him at least. Come on Britons, if you see him heckle him. He is such a loser.

FutureHope · 08/12/2021 20:29

Really, really hope he is called to account for this,

Worry is that by the time he’s back at the ballot box, the public will have forgotten.

Where is Kier Starmer? PMQs yes, but why isn’t he talking to the press, getting criticisms out there? Or are they just not printing it?

Mumoftwoinprimary · 08/12/2021 20:32

Well - yes. But I have said that roughly every 7 seconds for the last 2 years……

Freddiefox · 08/12/2021 20:34
@Freddiefox I know it will be a Tory. I never vote for them but know it will be someone who actually works full-time, and has some morals. Someone who can answer the simple question of how many children they have.
prynaithda21

Can you suggest anyone in party who fits the bill, particularly around morals?

I think they are all as bad as each other. Yes Boris should go, but I wonder who will be next. There will be a conversation about learning from mistakes.. blah blah, but the whole party is rotten to the core.

AngeloMysterioso · 08/12/2021 20:38

He should be, but he won’t. More slippery than an otter in an oil slick, that one. Everything just glides right off him.

Newgirls · 08/12/2021 20:40

Odious man

This corrupt patronising government shames us all
