Adele Ticket Prices

Saw elsewhere people discussing ticket prices for Adele and that there are payment plans available. Since when do you need payment plans for a gig?

Had a look and it’s £257 for one ticket. It’s outrageous.

Much as I like Adele that's just crazy.

Lockheart · 28/10/2021 16:46

Don't go then. Presumably there are enough people willing to pay that (not me!).

Sparklingbrook · 28/10/2021 16:47

I don;t think there's a band or artist that is worth paying that to see.

Shoxfordian · 28/10/2021 16:48

I thought they started at 100
Don’t go if you think it’s too much

Sirzy · 28/10/2021 16:48

Is that the cheapest?

I guess they sell them at the price that they think will make the most money but I can’t think of anyone I wokld pay that for

PinkiOcelot · 28/10/2021 16:50

They would have to pay me to go see her.
That’s ridiculous. No one person is worth that price.

shamalidacdak · 28/10/2021 16:50

Bloody ridiculous she's not even that good

SnugKnights · 28/10/2021 16:53

I thought maybe that was for a VIP ticket, but they’re £1499 Confused

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/10/2021 16:54

Are they selling out? If they are, there’s your answer.

Crazyhouse123 · 28/10/2021 16:55

YABU

She has to pay for her next wedding and divorce so she can chuck out another album after that.

Must add...I do like Adele, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see her live much less spend that much on a ticket.

Theluggage15 · 28/10/2021 16:55

They started at £95. You must be looking at ticket sites that have bumped the prices up

Floralnomad · 28/10/2021 16:56

Not sure I’d pay that amount to see anybody . The most I’ve paid is £130ish per ticket for George Michael and again for Bruce Springsteen . I suppose if George was still alive that would be the going rate for him now . My sister paid £250 each for very good tickets for Cher a couple of years ago , at the time she bought them I said she was crazy but it was an excellent show and I’ve not looked back and thought it was a waste ( and I’m not a Cher fan , don’t even own a single track ).

DrManhattan · 28/10/2021 16:56

Haaa she's not even that good

Accidentgirlfriend · 28/10/2021 16:56

I had a link to the pre sale tickets today which started at £90.45. I thought that was expensive considering we got 2x Coldplay tickets for £123 and 2x Ed Sheeran tickets for £125 within the last month ! I really wanted to go see Adele !

Kitkat151 · 28/10/2021 16:56

I saw her at Glastonbury and didn’t pay £257 for the full 5 day ticket

Longdistance · 28/10/2021 16:56

Well, she won’t be getting richer from me. Bloody ridiculous. Just like £300 for the Phil Colins concert. I wonder why they’re multi millionaires?

mustlovegin · 28/10/2021 16:57

there are payment plans available

Unbelievable. Nobody should get into debt to go to a gig IMO.

Brendabigbaps · 28/10/2021 16:59

Dolly Parton was about £165 a couple of years ago, the Elton tour was similar. I love dolly but couldn’t bring myself to pay that.
Just got tickets for erasure at £65 which is a bargain and much more entertaining than Adele!

Crunched · 28/10/2021 17:01

I think Coldplay and Ed Sheeran are active in limiting resale values.

coodawoodashooda · 28/10/2021 17:04

Snap.
SummerHouse · 28/10/2021 17:04

After buying my first car I would've got £57 change from that ticket price. I like Adele and all but will stick with the CD.

Stellaris22 · 28/10/2021 17:05

I’m glad I like smaller venues! I know there’s larger overhead costs for large arena tours, but £100/ticket and payment plans for a gig is awful. At that point artists aren’t doing it for the fans anymore to exclude people.

Bring back the days when it was £22 to see the backstreet boys

CaputApriDefero · 28/10/2021 17:06

Crikey! I'd only pay that if they resurrected Freddie Mercury

mustlovegin · 28/10/2021 17:09

Yes!
