Hermes guy taking photos of me?

Twice now I’ve answered the door to different Hermes delivery guys to find them pointing a mobile phone in my face to snap a photo?
Obviously they need to prove delivery and are trying to do contactless but I really think this is a bit rude without asking. Surely they should ask?

The worst thing is this gets sent to whoever sent the package. My partner has received some hilarious photos of me looking a right state, surprised with parcel in hand 🤣

The captions for some of these pic- ‘Startled in doorway’ ‘not so fresh out of the shower’
The last guy actually smirked when he took it

Haha my dog always emerges from the door first, so I have a range of photos of my dog ‘signing’ for parcels

Get a porch - then it's just photos of your doormat.

Our Hermes guy takes a photo of it on the floor at the doorway...usually gets DHs foot in the process but nothing else.

Ask them to do this instead and stand out of the way.

Yeah I can tell which lovely neighbour has taken in my parcels just by the pic of their socks.

I make sure to open the door standing behind it, at an angle now 😂 one too many photos taken, so now I avoid!!

I'm on first name terms with my local hermes lady. She always takes pictures of my parcel on the door step, none of me!

My Hermes driver takes a picture of parcels on the doorstep - if I'm in and open the door then he will reframe the picture to show the parcel on the open threshold of the door/just in the hallway (to show it was taken into the property) which occasionally gets my feet in the shot - but he never actually takes a picture of me.

I've started opening the door to them and standing to the side before hermes snap their pics lately.

yes that's weird...not least because round here they don't get close enough to hand me the parcel. They put it on the ground so sometimes they get my feet but that's all

My Hermes driver is brilliant, he only takes photos of my feet. He's helpful in other ways but I really appreciate no photos of me!

I honestly think if a delivery driver took a photo of me standing inside my house I'd ask him to delete it. They only ever take a picture of the package on the floor at mine.

Yes, they take a photo of the parcel on the floor in the open doorway - and usually my feet (which is bad enough).

One Hermes driver delivered my package to the wrong house. I figured out where it was from the photo of the leopard print door mat and collection of shoes in the open porch

At best they get my slippers in the shot.

It's usually my feet because they open our porch door and put it down, then knock! Sometimes if they hand it directly to me it's me in a dressing gown haha.

They shouldn't be taking photos of your face...if they are ask them to stop.

I'm on good terms with my Hermes man (yes, I do enjoy a reasonable amount of online shopping). The other day I was being silly and pretended to pose while he took the picture, he told me they are meant to get as little of the person in shot as possible

I get photos of my feet/shins.
