A Vodafone door to door salesman was doing the rounds on our road earlier with the latest offers that aren't available online apparently... anyway he left his business card and when I saw his name I had to LOL as it was Robin Crowe! His family must love bird names Grin

A girl from the town I used to live in married a guy who's surname was Dick. Mildly entertaining at that but her first name is Henrietta.
Definitely wouldn't have changed my name if I was her 😂

Went to school with a James Dean and a Tom Jones. This was in the 80s/90s so it’s not like Mr. and Mrs. Dean and Mr. and Mrs. Jones didn’t know about the famous namesakes of their lovely little babies Grin

Also know an Amber who married a Mr. Skye and a Laura who married a Mr. Laurie.

I know of a secondary school boy whose first and last name in his own regional language reads perfectly innocently when written down. When it is pronounced in the English version, it is extremely rude. Really bad. And a total unfortunate coincidence.

I used to work with a Theresa Green, I didn't even hear it as funny until I mentioned to my friend that I was on the early shift with Theresa Green and my friend thought I was joking. Once it was pointed out to me it was impossible to unhear.
