So sorry I can't use the vote (haven't a clue how to do it)
The questions is clear.. A simple yes or no..... After the Queen dies should the Royal Family continue... Yes or no!

No.
With a heavy heart because I don’t like the alternatives and I think she’s an impressive woman. But the rest 🤦🏻‍♀️

Why do you ask?
The Royal Family will continue; the country is not ready for another constitutional upheaval when so many brexit issues have not been resolved.

waltzingparrot · 17/09/2021 16:55

Yes

GrimDamnFanjo · 17/09/2021 16:57

Whatever anyone thinks is irrelevant. The system will remain in place. I'm not even sure how having a head of state would even be dismantled to be honest.

Bbq1 · 17/09/2021 16:58

@Whammyyammy

Yes, if they skip Charles and horse face, and Will ls and Kate reign. No, if Charles and horse face reign
I don't particularly like Camilla but that's a bit unfair, if that's who I imagine you're referring to. In answer to the Op, yes they will continue. I'm not a royalist but I quite like some of the the royals and having a royal family.
Idyllic · 17/09/2021 17:00

No.

I wish we could have the opportunity to choose our head of state. Hopefully it will happen at some point in my lifetime.

The fact that Charlie (aka sausage fingers) is planning a coronation very quickly after the queen dies to circumvent calls for a republic shows how unpopular he is!

Elected heads of states bring their own scandals and upheavals and new policies every few years when a new one comes along.

What the monarchy does well is that it brings stability and continuity

ArblemarchTFruitbat · 17/09/2021 17:57

@OutwiththeOutCrowd

I think it's time for Rexit.
We need a reginarendum.
DrWhoNowww · 17/09/2021 17:58

@OutwiththeOutCrowd

I think it's time for Rexit.
I reckon we probably need to give Brexit a chance to bed in before we instigate another disaster.

I can’t even begin to imagine how much it would cost to unravel hundreds of years of the monarchy, the attempt to unravel us from the EU still isn’t over and we were only in it for 50 years (give it take a couple of years) and has literally cost billions.
