The dust!

PurBal · 05/09/2021 16:50

Or dusting that one would need to do more to the point.

Lycanthropology · 05/09/2021 16:51

Gosh, not exactly minimalists, are they?

And yes, looks like they didn't get round to decorating the kitchen in their own er, unique, style!

Keepitonthedownlow · 05/09/2021 16:52

I like it! Especially if there were a few less ornaments though. I suppose it's hard to see the rooms for the decor, although I do think the decor has a lot of nice features.

GoogleWhacked · 05/09/2021 16:53

I was not expecting that from the first outside photoShock
Also, what's with the framed Jamie Oliver photo behind the hob? Such a strange place for it Confused

KeyErro · 05/09/2021 16:54

It's amazing. I actually love it 😀

Averyyounggrandmaofsix · 05/09/2021 16:55

It's gorgeous and anyway I imagine they will be taking their furniture with them.

loopylindi · 05/09/2021 16:57

Just goes to show - don't believe all you read in estate agents sheets.

HoikingUpMyBigGirlPantss · 05/09/2021 16:57

It's very "Escape to the Chateau". A bit fussy. Why are all the lights on - is it a north facing house?

Funnylittlefloozie · 05/09/2021 16:57

Obviously, you would put things down on the kitchen worktops! They are the only clear horizontal spaces in the entire house!

KaptainKaveman · 05/09/2021 16:58

It's hideous Shock - really ghastly! It looks like a Bacchanalian parody, and then some.

Lunariagal · 05/09/2021 16:58

Woah, too much clutter for me!
But otherwise a very nice house.

DrManhattan · 05/09/2021 16:58

Ha ha run out of cash for the kitchen. What a let down

HeckyPeck · 05/09/2021 16:59

YABU because the garden is lovely 😁

PepsiHoover · 05/09/2021 16:59

OMG! It's down the road from my mum's house!!! I'm going to arrange a viewing!!!!!

PepsiHoover · 05/09/2021 17:00

Just seen its sold FFS Angry

Janaih · 05/09/2021 17:00

Love it, especially the garden!
I'm wondering where the front door is though Hmm

FangsForTheMemory · 05/09/2021 17:00

I love it!

Bassetlover · 05/09/2021 17:01

I love it but not sure I could live in it. The kitchen is quite a contrast though!

Holothane · 05/09/2021 17:01

I’d declutter the lot.

FuzzyPuffling · 05/09/2021 17:03

Well it wouldn't matter where you put it down because you'd never find it again!

The house I love...the decor, not so much!

NotJuryDutyAgain · 05/09/2021 17:05

Looks like they just kept finding things to buy and couldn't bear to part with anything they already had... I don't feel so bad about my own clutter now, though. It's not quite to this level. Wink

It does make it difficult to imagine yourself living there, though, with so much "stuff" reflecting the current owner's style.

SoupDragon · 05/09/2021 17:06

At least it has personality, unlike those white boxes with white tiled floors where you aren't allowed to put anything down for fear of spoiling the look.

That said, it reminds me of one of those "hidden items" games you get on an iPad.

I do like seeing a house where someone hasn't just followed a trend though.

Mischance · 05/09/2021 17:15

That is truly grim - I feel tired just looking at it!

pigsDOfly · 05/09/2021 17:16

Why are all the lights on - is it a north facing house?

It's what estate agents do now when they take photos.

I've recently sold my house.

On a sunny day, especially in the afternoon, all the downstairs room, which go from the front to the back of the house, are absolutely bathed in sunlight, in fact it can be a bit of PIA and I often have to turn the blinds to shut it out, but that didn't stop the EA turning on all the lights when they did the photos on a very warm sunny afternoon.

Made absolutely no difference as you couldn't actually see the lights for the sunshine.
