... and to be very disappointed in the kitchen! What a let down. Grin

They have many many lamps

bamboocat · 05/09/2021 17:26

@GoogleWhacked

I was not expecting that from the first outside photoShock Also, what's with the framed Jamie Oliver photo behind the hob? Such a strange place for it Confused
Where else would one possibly want to put it - behind the fridge? Grin

I guess you'd have a similar problem with this house...

I love it! The kitchen is so sad.

Wow! I winder this is after the pre up for sale clear out?

Pieceofpurplesky · 05/09/2021 17:30

If it was an air B and B I would book it!

I love Chester

SurferRona · 05/09/2021 17:32

All. That. Stuff. Shock

But I am liking the stunt tricolore salad in photo 4 Grin

FatJan · 05/09/2021 17:34

I fucking love it. I'm not cleaning it, but I fucking love it

MaybeWeShouldGoToEastbourne · 05/09/2021 17:35

Looks like they’d just put dinner on the table when the photographer arrived too! Grin

There doesn't seem to be a hob or oven of any kind. I'm guessing a microwave in the cupboard, as they have a tin opener...

TheDogsMother · 05/09/2021 17:35

I'm hyperventilating just looking at all that stuff. Our house is the polar opposite which is probably other people's idea of hell Grin

MoiraNotRuby · 05/09/2021 17:39

I love it! Couldn't live in it but would be fun for a night. It looks like what my house would be if I were let loose in Home Sense with an unlimited budget and bottle of vodka.

Proudboomer · 05/09/2021 17:39

You do realise when you buy a house the seller takes their stuff with them?

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 05/09/2021 17:43

Christ that’s bloody cheap for a place with such character. I’d have thought Chester was significantly more expensive but then I live ‘darn sarf’

TheYearOfSmallThings · 05/09/2021 17:48

The thing is, I have no idea what that house would look like when the owners move out and take all their stuff.

OldTinHat · 05/09/2021 17:49

Christ on a bike!!!

MrsKeats · 05/09/2021 17:50

Omg I know that house.
We sold our house through that agent.

Oh wow, I thought my house was mad......
I love it. Not the house so much, you can't see the house.

The first house is lovely, but their interior is naff, it looks cheap.

Zeewest · 05/09/2021 18:08

That's horrendous. I'm usually fairly good at seeing past owners style/taste/decor but I couldn't do so with this propery

viques · 05/09/2021 18:12

Fair does to the current owners, it is gleamingly clean. That bathroom shower is polished like a diamond! Either they have the worlds best cleaner or they are Mrs Hinch’s long lost sibling.

viques · 05/09/2021 18:15

I meant the first house.

BroccoliFloret · 05/09/2021 18:16

It's not my taste but then again neither is a bland white/grey box with no colour and no personality.

Fair play to them for doing their own thing and creating a house they clearly love. And obviously they'll be taking all their clutter and stuff with them.

TheSilveryPussycat · 05/09/2021 18:17

It's on trend, as maximalism is the new minimalism.

I love a clutttered maximalist space, as my flat will testify.

unlikelytobe · 05/09/2021 18:21

It's a bit overboard but would be fine for a weekend break - just don't think I could live with that much stuff everywhere. It'd be like eating too much cake (yes, that's possible).

That loo with the red walls looks like Matt Hancock's where he use to do zoom interviews
