... and to be very disappointed in the kitchen! What a let down. Grin

It's so DARK and all the clutter makes it really oppressive. Also seems a lot of money for a 2 bed house sat right on a busy road with no parking. It could be lovely once decluttered though, but the lack of garden at the front and zero parking (yellow lines on road) would put me off.

Effybriest · 05/09/2021 18:32

Like the bedroom in the second one.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 05/09/2021 18:44

Yes, I can just imagine "have you seen the car keys? “

I think you'd have to walk or buy another car.

Tibtab · 05/09/2021 18:46

That’s….intense

Chouetted · 05/09/2021 18:49

The first one reminds me of an antique shop. The second one however, is amazing - might have given me some ideas Grin

Redsquirrel5 · 05/09/2021 18:55

Oh how intriguing.

I would love to visit. Can you imagine them saying...
” I won’t be long I’ll just put the kettle on.”
I’d be, “ Take as long as you like.”

I prefer the second one. Definitely someone theatrical. Collecting all those puppets and the colour. It is amazing.

I love the gardens in both. Can you imagine sitting out there in some of the hot days we have had? Some amazing plants and containers.

I am going to show DH he thinks we have too much clutter. A lot has been passed down from his parents and my grandparents.

I would like to know what you typed in to find them? I had an interesting afternoon when I looked at churches for sale.

Thanks for those. I spent a happy half hour scrolling through those photos.

StoneofDestiny · 05/09/2021 19:21

You e got to see passed the clutter (difficult as it is).

I couldn't live with it, but you are buying the house, not the clutter.

KLCD · 05/09/2021 19:27

The first picture of the living room made me anxious!! So cluttered x

NotMyCat · 05/09/2021 19:31

I wouldn't like to live there but it's the kind of place I would love to nosy about, I feel like you could spend hours picking things up and finding treasures
My own house isn't like that but I want people to feel they can put their feet up, pick up a candle/photo and look, and be able to touch things

LegendaryReady · 05/09/2021 19:33

I was just wondering how you'd have dinner at that table and then I saw dinner is on it with all the other stuff!

EstuaryBird · 05/09/2021 19:37

I’m claustrophobic and it makes me feel very uncomfortable, I couldn’t be in there for more than a few minutes 😳

thefirstmrsrochester · 05/09/2021 19:44

It’s wonderful in an ‘overspill from the auction house’ kind of way. So let down by the kitchen though.

pigsDOfly · 05/09/2021 20:11

Yes, the first house looks like an antique shop.

Having said that, where the hell do they find all that stuff?

All that clutter would drive me mad.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/09/2021 20:15

Photo 14.
Bit freaked out.

Wow!

@Ifeelmuchlessfat

Christ that’s bloody cheap for a place with such character. I’d have thought Chester was significantly more expensive but then I live ‘darn sarf’
It's a 2 bed flat not a whole house, if that helps?
OP posts:
wobblywinelover · 05/09/2021 20:39

massively overpriced for a 2 bed flat i'd say! I know it's Chester though. Bet the place is really bland once the stuff is taken out of it too

PopcornMuncher · 05/09/2021 21:48

WOW! But I love the garden

DerAlteMann · 05/09/2021 22:08

OMG it's wonderful. I want it! (Actually, we live in somewhere similar).

FlumpsAreShit · 05/09/2021 22:22

Decor misses the mark. I think the sitting room is okay in it's own crazy way then everything just goes downhill.

I really love the garden...though where on earth is the front door?!

This on the other hand I sort of love! I couldn't live there but would love to meet the owner!

dayswithaY · 05/09/2021 22:30

Is it weird that I love it, such a treasure trove!

user1473878824 · 05/09/2021 22:32

@HoikingUpMyBigGirlPantss

It's very "Escape to the Chateau". A bit fussy. Why are all the lights on - is it a north facing house?
THAT’S your take away from this?!?! Grin
AntiSocialDistancer · 05/09/2021 22:35

That person is going to cry like a baby when the house and the aesthetics get destroyed by someone completely renovating it! I already know.

yoyo1234 · 05/09/2021 22:48

I'd love to visit , stay a while and look in wonderment. Just would be so scared of dusting ......
