To feel personally attacked re: my semi negligent parenting by Blueys parents

How do they have the energy to play with their kids ALLLLL the time.

All the kit. The little games. The fun ideas. I do play with my kids obviously but good grief. More than 10 minutes role play and I want to to gouge my eyes out.

Every time my 3 yr old DS drops something he says “AH NAH, I SPILLED MA BEANS” in a weird mock Australian toddler voice Grin

Literally desperate for season 3 to come to Disney+ !!!

I always assumed it is because they are all dogs and playfulness is in their nature i.e. the parents are enjoying it almost as much as the kids. Bluey has got to be the best kids show out there at the moment, love it!

My children wish they were dogs now!!! As much as I love it, (and can't wait for the next season to binge watch) I feel so inadequate now!!!

Our whole family loves Bluey. Even the 12 and 13 year old boys. My 4 year old is always asking to watch ‘new Bluey.’ There was much excitement the day Disney Plus put the second half of Season 2 on. We’re hoping it won’t be too long before Season 3 is on.

My favourite episodes are
Calypso
Baby Race
The one with Rusty and Jack
The one with all the cousin’s at Nana’s house
Bingo’s birthday party where Nana wants to feel needed and Bingo wants someone to watch her handstands

My 4 year old is quite taken with a few of the catch phrases - trifficult, biscuits, Ooss, bum worms, dunny

The parents do put me to shame though with their level of involvement in the kids’ play. It saddens me, as I used to love it as a child, but I hate playing pretend!

I have lost count of the number of times I've heard DD (almost 5) say "pause the game...bleep".

Massive Bluey fans here too! It helps with pretend play in some ways - as long as I can remember the episodes in the same way my daughter can as we reenact them repeatedly throughout the day... 🤦‍♀️ Was handy when my DD wanted to be Shaun so I could legitimately keep her on a lead for a walk 🤷‍♀️
