Pampers newborn seem ridiculously overpriced in comparison to supermarket alternative. Are they really worth it?

I think it musy depend on the shape of your child. Mine were thin and Pampers were the only brand that didn't leak

Totally dependent on shape of baby. Mine both were fine with Pampers newborn but the next stage up were useless. We got on really well with Sainsbury's own brand.

Different children seen to fit different nappies as they all have different shaped bottoms.

When DC1 was a baby (he is 16) we tried pampers newborn and they always leaked so used huggies.

DC2 and 3 we tried all sorts but ended up with supermarket own most of the time.

Might be worth seeing what works for your little one before stocking up! Lots of people recommended Aldi, but they leaked for us.

With my first i has hundreds of pampers stocked up, but she came early and I couldn’t even use them for 5 months.
With my second child (username is out of date 😂) it turns out she had an allergic reaction to something in pampers and we couldn’t use them. Luckily I hadn’t bought as many as I did with my first!

Always leaked for me.
Aldi premium or Tesco Fred and flo have been good for us. Boots too actually.

No. I got 8 weeks free as part of a clinical trial and had to use them (as a control). Was so glad when I could switch even though I had loads left.
