I've had to speak to a new man a couple of times now.
His voice has me mesmerized even though I have no idea what he looks like.
This isn't the first time a male voice has had this effect.
I work with all men so I am not seeking to hear a mans voice.
Is it just me or has anyone else felt weak at the knees for the sound of someone's voice.

I meant to say over the telephone.

I totally get it. I fell in love/infatuation with my husband just from his voice. We spoke on the phone before we met. He has a deep, smooth voice that is simply glorious.

YANBU Keep an open mind though. I work with men who, over the phone, are Greek Gods. Then I meet them in person…. Bastards of the highest order! Very disappointed 😬

My DP is a proper full-on Essex boy, but very soft-spoken. I would never describe that particular accent as sexy, but coming from him, I just MELT.

I once sat through a client presentation from an American man who had the most beautiful smooth voice. Honestly, I could have listened to him reading the telephone directory out loud...

Richard Osman's voice takes me to a very real place, as a woman. He doesn't say "By 'country' we mean . . ." much anymore, and I miss it.

I love my husbands voice, when we first met he sent me a video of his mums dog, his voice talking to the dog made me fall in love with him I’m sure, I listened to that video so many times 😂
Doesn’t turn me on but there is a mum on the school run who has the most beautiful accent/voice I’ve ever heard, she is from Zimbabwe, I could listen to her talk all day.
On the other hand I absolutely hate listening to my own voice on recordings etc. I don’t sound that bad in my head !

I used to order from takeaway a few years back and the guy who answered the phone had the loveliest voice I think I've ever heard. Needless to say I orders far too many takeaways

Definitely, there is a particular type of voice which does the same to me. Probably best not to meet phone man though in case his looks don’t match up

Voices and accents! I went out with a Geordie simply for his accent. Belfast accents turn my legs to jelly while the Estuary accent (which I’m surrounded by) grates. I loathe it

I had a job once where I had to talk to the solicitor on a regular basis. The man had a voice that made me melt, especially when he said my name.

I'd keep him talking longer than I needed. Taking to him made my day.

I have a colleague with one of those voices, whom I first met on the phone. Because of this, I have held a crush, which to the best of my knowledge is unrequited, for a very, very long time.

The team now communicates exclusively on headsets which is an interesting form of torment. It's one reason, amongst many, many more professional ones, I'm thinking of changing jobs.

There’s a tennis umpire who sounds just like Barry White. I love watching tennis anyway but even more so when he’s officiating!

At my old job we used to deal with a sales rep who had the voice of Sean Connery.
Someone on the team didn't believe us so we rang his voicemail on speakerphone.

My husband has one of those very deep voices, like James Earl Jones.

I have this and it has led to some pretty weird attractions. A nice voice is basically my key ask in a man.
