AIBU to be turned on by some men's voices.☺

I've had to speak to a new man a couple of times now.
His voice has me mesmerized even though I have no idea what he looks like.
This isn't the first time a male voice has had this effect.
I work with all men so I am not seeking to hear a mans voice.
Is it just me or has anyone else felt weak at the knees for the sound of someone's voice.

Richard Burton's voice still gets to me and he's almost 40 years dead! I have Under Milk Wood and love to listen to it.

You're not at all unreasonable. Voices are very important and it is quite natural to be attracted to a voice.

Just realise that a good voice does not equal a good and attractive person. You might get a shock if you meet him in real life.

I think finding particular voices and accents sexy is pretty universal.

I like quite a deep gravelly voice on a man. I always think Keir Starmer has an unfortunate voice.

I'm fairly sure he is a good person as he works for a charity.

In the past I worked with a colleague and both of us were smitten with the voice of a regular supplier we often had to speak on the phone to... For myths we swooned and made reasons to get him to speak to each other... One day he visited, it was the first time we'd met him and it wasn't just his voice. No charisma or physical attraction at all! Sadly it was the end of a very fun crush.

Can I propose Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig. Never fancied a cartoon pig before but that voice!

Any deep voiced Glaswegian man does it for me. I thought it was just my old boss, but have recently been working with two of the buggers by phone and video and their voices do not match their faces, but if I close my eyes I could listen to them all day Blush

I loved the voice of the actor who plays Randall in This is Us, and it was bugging me where I'd heard it before.

Eventually realised during one of DD's endless rewatching of Frozen 2 that he plays the soldier.

I could listen to his voice for hours!

My husband is a former actor and has a truly gorgeous voice - it’s one of the first things that attracted me to him.

Definitely! Years ago, I had two work colleagues (worked in different offics of the company I was in) and I imagined they were gorgeous just by the sound of their voice. It was months before I met them face to face - one of them was gorgeous, the other not so much (but the voice still did it for me Grin)

Kitchen and Pryce I totally agree. I used to love just heating his voice in 'Jumping Jack Flash' - "Knock, Knock . . . "

Also quite like Clive Owen and Mark Strong's voices.

Last place I worked, the IT guy had the most gorgeous voice. I had terrible difficulty concentrating on what he was asking me or telling me to do over the phone. there were a lot of bad lines

And my lawyer, ditto. Could listen to him reading legalese all day... Blush
