No you haven’t. You’ve explained that you think if we talk about safeguarding and it happens to be about a trans person, such threads might “take over” AIBU. This is hyperbole for a start, and there’s no explanation for why you have taken such a hyperbolic view of anything “gender critical” being discussed widely. What motivates you to take such a hyperbolic view and try and shift such important conversations to a place less seen? According to the vote, you’re in a tiny minority.

Well, I agree seeing a news story might tip one into being GC.
But most of the public are GC. They just don't realise material reality needs a label.
So yes, a thread might lead someone to realise they are GC. What's the big whoop?

It’s just been announced a Premier League footballer has been arrested on paedophilia charges. Hopefully any thread about it gets posted in Sport .
