to ask what phone you currently have?

As title says. I have never had a really good, phone, I usually have a hand-me-down from one of the DC's or a cheapo samsung.

I want to save up for a decent phone (don't want one off a contract) and I am not sure what type to go for, so thought I would be nosy and ask MN :D

Google Pixel 4a. Takes amazing photos.

iPhone 12-recently bought a few months ago-my iPhone 8S was fine but husband's was circling the drain-with trade in credit and switching carriers we only paid $100 each and have a cheaper monthly plan rate as well

I think the Samsung A series is brilliant. Absolutely no difference from the more premium Galaxy series limo.
I went from a Galaxy to A71 and will continue with the A series upon upgrade.

iPhone XR. I love it.

iPhone 8, possibly upgrading to a 12 this summer.

Samsung A71, I love it.

Google pixel 3a. Had it just over a year and still really happy with it, has an excellent camera and rarely, if ever, lags or crashes.

Also a galaxy A71. Love it.

iPhone 12 Pro.

Unpopular brand I know but best phone I ever had.

Samsung Galaxy S21. A very nice phone. I am sure the A71 is lovely, as PPs have said, but it is not true to say that there is no difference between the A and S series. The question is just whether you think the differences are worth the extra money.
Some of the ways the S21 is better than the A71: better screen with HDR and double the refresh rate; superior gorilla class; faster CPU; faster GPU; more RAM; better fast charging; wireless charging; better camera suite including 8K video (vs. 4K); aluminium (not plastic) frame; IP68 water and dust proof; 5G; wider LTE coverage; WiFi 6; Dolby Atmos; a barometer.

Really cheap compared to competitors too

Recently treated myself to an upgrade from iPhone 8 to IPhone 12 and very happy

Pixel 3a XL.

Takes good photos, reliable. I like it! I do wish it had a slot for an external SD card, though, because ideally I'd like more storage for my music and photos/videos. It's workable, though, with cloud storage and streaming.

@ladygindiva, I just purchased a Huawei PSmart, absolute bargain, I didn’t want to pay £500+ for a phone and it seems to have all the apps and features of a more expensive phone.

I have an iPhone.

My dd used to have huawei but the new models do not support google and a lot of apps she uses regularly so she’s changed her phone to a Nokia currently.

IPhone X, apart from more memory it's really not that different to my iPhone 7 or 8 that I had before.

iPhone 11.
Not as user friendly as previous models that I've had, in fact, I'm thinking of going back to Samsung when this contract is up.

My favourite ever phone was a galaxy 3. ( I think it was called.)
