to ask what phone you currently have?

As title says. I have never had a really good, phone, I usually have a hand-me-down from one of the DC's or a cheapo samsung.

I want to save up for a decent phone (don't want one off a contract) and I am not sure what type to go for, so thought I would be nosy and ask MN :D

iPhone 5. Very reliable, has lasted years and I see no need to replace it (I pay £7 per month SIM only).

Samsung Galaxy S10 but will upgrade next month. To another Galaxy Grin

Camera is brilliant.

My work phone is an iPhone and I don't like it at all and don't see the appeal.

Exactly. My partner is pretty jealous as his galaxy cost way more than my psmart and isn't really any better.

Samsung note 9, upgraded it from the note 2 about 3 years ago and still love it. Bought 2nd hand so didn't pay a ridiculous amount and it's still going strong. Not an iPhone fan at all.

iPhone 12 Pro Max which was a very generous a birthday present from dh. I previously had an iPhone 7 for nearly 5 years. The difference between the two is phenomenal. The camera is amazing.
If you're looking for a phone I would highly recommend the Arun Maini's YouTube channel aka 'Mrwhosetheboss' . He does great, honest reviews on phones and is also rather entertaining! Grin

iPhone 11 Pro Max. The camera is great and I love the bigger size (I've gone for the 'plus' or 'max' size since Apple started doing them)

Samsung galaxy z fold 2. Love it as the fold out screen is huge and I can do most things on it.

iPhone SE 2. OH and I each have this model and are happy with it. Teen DD has iPhone 11 and feels she needs an upgrade (funded by us…not happening!!).

I've got the Google Pixel 2a. I've had it over 4 years and it still works perfectly. This is my first android after having iPhones for years. I will never go back to an iPhone.

When this phone eventually packs up, I will 100% be going for another Google Pixel! I can't rate them highly enough.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S Flip 5G (best thing I've ever won). I would also recommend the Samsung A Series.

iPhone 12 mini. A bit too small for me! Last phone was amazing, Samsung Galaxy S10 plus, a bit big so would recommend regular S10.

iPhone XR. Absolutely love it, but I’m going to upgrade when the new ones come out later this year as it’s 3 years old now and the battery life is suffering. If it wasn’t for that I’d keep it!

iPhone 12 pro for me & DS1, DiL has the 12 pro max. We all love the functionality and the way it syncs with our other Apple products.

I do wish the 12 pro was just a wee bit narrower as I have small hands. But just about my fav thing is the photo/video stabilization feature. I have a slight hand tremor and my pictures/video were almost always blurry to some extent. With the stabilization my pics and video are as clear and crisp as can be.

DH has an iPhone 11pro, DS2 has whatever the latest Pixel is (5?). Both of them are very happy with their phones.
