In this hypothetical you don't have to worry about potential language barrier or immigration. You would just be one of the citizens.

What country you would like to live in and why?

Harare, Zimbabwe. Climate is perfect, people are wonderful, the county is beautiful. If only the political situation was different (democratic)

louderthan · 07/07/2021 17:55

Any Scandinavian country. All very civilised.

louderthan · 07/07/2021 17:56

Oh, and many beautiful blonde men.

PeggyArmstrong · 07/07/2021 17:58

Canada.

Scenery, climate, loads of room and a flag with a leaf on it - what's not to love!

LemonFantaGin · 07/07/2021 17:59

Menorca

VictoriaLudorum · 07/07/2021 17:59

I live in my dream country and have done for over 30 years. I now have dual nationality, thanks to Brexit.

Buddywoo · 07/07/2021 18:02

Uganda - fabulous fertile green country with lakes and mountains. Wonderful climate, never below mid sixties and hardly ever above mid eighties. High, so low humidity. Churchill was right when he called it 'the pearl of Africa'.

RunningFromInsanity · 07/07/2021 18:02

South Africa. Mossel Bay or Kynsna ideally.

Watchingyou2sleezes · 07/07/2021 18:03

Argentina

Oh or Finland for similar reasons apart from the flag.

This is a lovely thread and you haven't told us what your dream country is yet OP, please share Smile.

Wales - I just want to go home. I can't resist a smile whenever I travel westwards across the Severn Bridge.

StarryStarrySocks · 07/07/2021 18:22

Denmark. Or Canada.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 07/07/2021 18:23

France. Near the coast in the Languedoc region. Somewhere like Beziers.

Sorry not sorry to be a pedant, but you live in the UK. You don't have an English passport.
FuzzyPuffling · 07/07/2021 18:24

England.

StiggyZardust · 07/07/2021 18:24

France. Good food, good wine and beautiful scenery.

LadyJaye · 07/07/2021 18:26

If I wasn't Scottish, I'd want to be Danish.

I love Japan, Korea and Hong Kong and have lived in all three, but wouldn't really want to do so for the rest of my life.

Fieldings15 · 07/07/2021 18:26

South of France, somewhere like the Lot valley, beautiful and with a great climate. Plus wine and French bread Grin

LoveFall · 07/07/2021 18:27

Where I live, Canada. I am proud that we are taking concrete steps towards a more inclusive and just society, despite some things in our past.

Australia, Thailand or Vietnam. The weather, the food and the wildlife.

Partypoooooper · 07/07/2021 18:29

England, specifically rural Norfolk or Suffolk.
