BBC Commentary is Awful

Oh my word!

Firstly, well done England. I'm not an England fan but wish them well.

But surely our license fee deserves better than the awful BBC coverage?

I am a big supporter of women's football and actively pay to watch matches and have a relative who plays professionally, but I don't think Alex Scott is great tbh

Karen Carney is ace though.

It isn't a woman thing - Gabby Logan is my favourite 'anchor' - but the only reason they've invested in Alex Scott is because she has a pretty face and flashes a lot of leg.
Such a shame when there are so many experienced an knowledgeable footballers out there (and I know being a good footballer doesn't mean you are necessarily going to be either a good commentator or a good pundit). Her voice and lazy speech really grates

However, in response to the 'jingoistic' posts - BBC always invite internationals from countries playing into their team.

And I know I'll get crucified now but I don't want female commentators while I'm watching a game. Sorry.

Too right you will. What a ridiculous generalisation. Are you ok with female newsreaders? Doctors? Referees?

Any other sweeping exclusions you'd like to make? Race? Nationality? Accent? Disability? Religion?
