Just that. But somehow feels embarrassing to admit how much I CRAVE the stuff.

Someone tell me I’m not alone??

Much of Norway is with you.

NiceGerbil · 29/06/2021 00:25

That's pretty much the best thing to be addicted to I can think of!

If you crave milk maybe there is something in it your body is hankering for. Or maybe it's a habit or its just lovely to you!

I'm sure you're not alone.

I don't like milk but eat an awful lot of cheese Grin

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:30

You seem like a very positive person @NiceGerbil - think I’ll ditch the milk and have what you’re having!!

Also — didn’t know this about the Norwegians and milk drinking - how interesting @TheSpottedZebra

Ladybird69 · 29/06/2021 00:33

I’m the same I could drink it all day long.

Menora · 29/06/2021 00:34

It makes me violently ill if I was to drink more than a small cup in one go?
I wish I could drink more of it though

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:34

Do you worry that it’s bad for you @Ladybird69 - or do you refrain from guzzling?

OP posts:
Tiari · 29/06/2021 00:36

Could you be pregnant? I craved and drank loads of milk through one of my pregnancies, then ds was born with a milk allergy Shock
He gradually grew out of it though.

NiceGerbil · 29/06/2021 00:37

That's a really poor idea OP (I'm an alcoholic, between you and me Smile)

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:38

Oh dear @Tiari - Sod’s law eh!!

No deffo not pregnant - and have always been a milk addict Confused

NiceGerbil · 29/06/2021 00:38

It's water, calcium, vitamins and some fats.

It's good for you!

How much are we talking? 2 pints? 4? 10?

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:39

@NiceGerbil ah then on second thoughts!! Think I’ll stick with the milk. Flowers

OP posts:
peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:40

@NiceGerbil but what about the sugar and the hormones? Also I’m pretty sure that once we stop being children we lose the ability to stop being able to tolerate milk and our systems don’t really like it. I read something about it a while ago. BUT - it’s primarily the hormones that concern me.

I couldn’t possibly comment on my consumption levels Blush but I just inhaled a pint of it

Nothing is better on a hot day than an ice cold pint of milk

Shmithecat2 · 29/06/2021 00:43

Ugh, christ, No! Horrid stuff. The mere thought of someone else drinking a glass of milk makes me shudder 🤢

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:44

Omg @whatdoidonowffs talk dirty to me!!!

OP posts:
peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:45

Okay *@Shmithecat2* so how much money to drink a pint of milk (you)? Everyone has a price… Grin
@peachyandkeen Does it count if I don't manage to keep it down?!!
NiceGerbil · 29/06/2021 00:50

It's much lower in sugar than human milk! And I don't think we lose the ability to digest milk no. Otherwise why would we buy it. And also cheese yoghurt cream etc etc.

How much are you drinking?

NiceGerbil · 29/06/2021 00:51

And what hormones?

Have you been reading weird stuff on the net?

applesarethebest · 29/06/2021 00:51

I was the same as Tiari when I was pregnant so I was going to ask you the same thing!! 😅

I'm sure there's no harm in drinking some extra milk 🥛

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 29/06/2021 00:51

@whatdoidonowffs

Nothing is better on a hot day than an ice cold pint of milk

Dita73 · 29/06/2021 00:52

I never ever drink milk. I think it’s because when I was a child and was unwell my mum used to put soluble aspirin in milk with a load of sugar and make me drink it! Actually thinking about how horrific that was it’s amazing I can even look at cows!

peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:54

@NiceGerbil hormones that naturally occur is cows milk like estrogen, progesterone, prostaglandin and cortisone etc

OP posts:
peachyandkeen · 29/06/2021 00:55

Love a swig of milk. Has to be very cold though. Going to have some now, inspired by you.
