I think there are some really judgy comments on here. I know a couple of people who are on there and they make pretty good money. It is not porn at all. And no one here is judgying women who are driven to sex work by circumstances. What some of us are doing, however, is critically discussing this new agenda of encouraging girls and women to do porn/only fans and branding it 'empowering'. Sex work/porn benefits men more than it will ever benefit women. It is an industry created by men for the benefit of men. The average girl/women on only fans makes about £200 a month working full time.

Can't understand how you can make a distinction between doing sex acts on camera at the request of a stranger on OF from any other porn set up? What makes one sleazy but not the other? They are both putting women at risk of exploitation, losing control of who sees their body, having strangers wanking over them, becoming alienated from their own bodies, strengthening the message that what gives men organisms is somehow empowering for women....

Men are the buyers, they are the ones who drive the content. Men are increasingly demanding more violent, degrading sex acts from pornstars. Sure, pornstars can say 'no', but then men will stop paying for their content. The only fans/porn market is so over-saturated that women are not able to control what is expected of them. If they say no to violently penetrating their anus with a huge dildo, literally thousands of other girls/women will be there to say 'yes' and do it, because they need the money. Like I said, men are the ones who control this industry, not women.

Yes, there are a minority of female pornstars who can walk away whenever they want, but they are not representative of the majority.
