To ask if your knickers and bra match?

Just pondering this after seeing the 'how often do you wash your bra' thread.

My knickers and bras match I have very small boobs though, so can get away with cheaper bras. Some are really nice sets for 'best' and others are just plainish bras that match plainish knickers of the same colour.

I'll buy one bra and three pairs of knickers that match - had a bit of a spend in M&S yesterday!

I've built it up into too much of a 'thing' I think! No one ever sees it these days but I feel better for them matching, and a bit 'wrong' if I run out - will go braless instead!

But I don't ever wear socks, even in the depths of winter and don't own any - I mean, what would I match them too??

So - are you matchy-matchy or does anything go?

No hardly ever. I wear what’s clean. And when I’m working I’ll always wear a white or nude bra under my white uniform. Knickers - mostly big ones as I have a big booty and they’re comfortable.

Sometimes not bought as a match though.
In my single days pre DC I'd wear matching underwear everyday.

£££££££ for bras so only 2 matching sets. Everyday is always M&S black knickers and whatever bra is to hand 😆

Apart from that, I have three fancy sets.

I ALWAYS at the very least match the colour, but most of my underwear is black so pretty easy. And if I've already got my bottom half dressed and then decide to change to eg. a white top and have to change my bra to a white/ nude one, I'll get undressed again and put matching pants on.

I also like to try and match my socks to some part of my outfit if I can although I've not gone quite as far down this slippery slope yet

Yes - OP of bras thread here. I buy matching sets, but from now on I’m buying 2/3 sets of pants per bra!

Wouldn’t even cross my mind to buy a matching set .
Big cotton comfy knickers for me then good structured bra on top.

They are not matching sets but I buy M&S skin tone bras with a bit of lace and skin tone knickers with a bit of lace so they look matching. I do same with black and white ones. I buy 2 pairs of knickers for each bra.

I only ever buy matching ones. Something my mum said to me as a teenager that never left me. 😂

Always. I buy bras with 5 pairs of matching knickers, so always have a clean pair to match whatever bra I am wearing.

No, because I only ever have 2 bras I wear (I am an odd shape/size and hate bra shopping and breaking in new bras) and I like nice big comfy cotton knickers.

Much to DH's dismay, no. I have big boobs with a small back and bras are mega expensive!

Absolutely not. I wear a 34GG and decent bras are expensive. I know some supermarkets do larger sizes but they just don’t give enough support.

I also live for comfort so I buy multipacks of full briefs from M&S. I like to feel tucked in!

No. They’re usually both black or nude, but different shops and different fabric. I see no more reason to match knickers and bra than knickers and socks. I barely coordinate the layers people actually see!

No. My first proper boyfriend asked me why I didn’t wear matching underwear. I didn’t realise it was a thing. I wear clean underwear that does it’s job...

No never. My bras are a fortune (32hh fantasie) and matching pants are never cotton so fuck that expensive shit and associated itchy crack

This made me laugh! I love Fantasie bras and now I know the correct size and style for my boobs I buy them from Brastop, great prices and customer services

Not these days. When I was (much) younger & had a fab figure, I used to wear pretty underwear that matched. But fashion has changed too, not just my shape. I usually wear dark jeans/trousers/leggings and black knicks. Comfy ones these days. 😂 my bras match whatever too I'm I'm wearing -mostly white t shirts.

I wouldn't wear dark bras with white t shirts or white pants under dark jeans/trousers. So 🤷🏻‍♀️
