To ask if your knickers and bra match?

Just pondering this after seeing the 'how often do you wash your bra' thread.

My knickers and bras match I have very small boobs though, so can get away with cheaper bras. Some are really nice sets for 'best' and others are just plainish bras that match plainish knickers of the same colour.

I'll buy one bra and three pairs of knickers that match - had a bit of a spend in M&S yesterday!

I've built it up into too much of a 'thing' I think! No one ever sees it these days but I feel better for them matching, and a bit 'wrong' if I run out - will go braless instead!

But I don't ever wear socks, even in the depths of winter and don't own any - I mean, what would I match them too??

So - are you matchy-matchy or does anything go?

I match sometimes but sometimes I'm wearing dark bottoms and a light top, or clingy bottoms which need seamless knickers so I won't be matched up. I buy extra knickers for my nice bras but not for an M&S 2 pack.

No never. My bras are a fortune (32hh fantasie) and matching pants are never cotton so fuck that expensive shit and associated itchy crack

Anything goes for me, it's not something I think of, I always wear a bra, and I always wear knickers and I just put clean on each day and don't think of the colours. They often accidentally 'match' because the bras are normally black and the knickers generally are too, but I wouldn't not wear a pair of knickers because they don't match my bra.

You don't own socks??? Do you not ever wear boots or trainers?

My bras and pants don't match. Sometimes both black, sometimes two different shades of pink, by coincidence though.

@CarnationCat - haha, yes, I wear trainers, 'fashion' boots, walking boots etc. I just find socks really uncomfy and always have, so I don't bother with them and haven't for over 20 years. I've only recently realised how odd this is but my feet are much happier for it!

No. Buy sets and knickers always bloody uncomfortable.

Never. Another one that requires heavily constructed bras. I only wear black cotton briefs, I have many pairs, all identical.

Yes, but mine are cheap and not particularly pretty. If I have a white bra I have white pants and if a black bra, black matching pants (I only have those two colours). Nothing is pretty or lacy though!

I have some nice matching sets, but only bother to wear them when I’m going out for a fancy dinner or dirty weekend or something and expecting sex later. Most of the time with DP we just have sex before bed when I’ve been in PJs... so what’s the point in bothering with nice underwear if it’s only me who would see it 😂

@monkeysox - wow, yes, fantasie are £££. I was pretty horrified at the price of some bras in M&S and feel fortunate my boobs are not big enough small so cheap cheap are ok.

I'd quite like big boobs and long legs, just for a day, to see what it's like! I'd probably wander around naked going "look at my fab legs and boobs". I'd have long, straight hair that day too. And a cute button nose!

No never. I wear my fabulous, expensive bras with good old M&S knickers

Yes and no. When I feel like wearing matching then yes but I've gained weight due to lock down so no because I’m not buying more underwear.

No. My bras are hideously expensive so I counteract that with Primark knickers!

Always - 3 pairs of knickers to each bra Each bra worn for 3 days. Each set rotated in order pastel white black x3 so 27 days supply. Socks match as well! Can't imagine going out mismatched!

No. Why would they? Nobody sees them.

Always. And I often match the colour to the colour of my outfit

But then I do have rather a lot of underwear because I like it and it makes me happy.
