Hi All,

NC in case outing.

In my opinion it was completely reasonable. Everyone I know thought so apart from a few people who didn't but they are mistaken for various reasons I can't get into at the moment (outing). One of these people was person A who is the SIL of my BIL's friend person B (legitimate breeder, no puppy farms), and it wasn't the first time that this had happened to person C, unrelated. Maybe I should just LTB.

I felt that the exclusion was about a personality clash and the teacher has got it in for DS. He is a sweet boy despite being boistrous and a bit of a livewire (NT, but diagnoses welcome). But to be clear they have been parking there every single day at drop off. Engines running. And it's not ever their hedge.

If you think IABU I can add in a few more posts later about my MIL, finances, and a diagram done with a biro that nearly doesn't work.

For clarity we earn £100,000 each and can afford it.

AIBU?
(Only YANBU answers please)

YANBU OP. It's discusting and they clearly have narcissistic personality disorder. Can you ring 101 to report?

TheShudderingDentist · 14/03/2021 14:53

YABU. Why should your DH get you a gift from your children today? You aren’t his mother.

gottenhaitch · 14/03/2021 14:54

Be grateful you have a MIL you heartless bitch.

Bordois · 14/03/2021 14:56

You sound like hard work

LAgeDeRaisin · 14/03/2021 14:56

Oh and I did tell her that we are supposed to be in lockdown

AlexaShutUp · 14/03/2021 14:56

YABVU. If the OP was a man, the answers would be completely different.

FoonySpucker · 14/03/2021 14:56

There is an obvious solution to this, but it is outing so I can't tell you what it is.

Apologies for the typos but someone stole both my hands.

OscarWildesCat · 14/03/2021 14:57

You need to go NC you are clearly an alcoholic

Sparklingbrook · 14/03/2021 14:58

Awaiting monumental drip feed about the hedge.

LAgeDeRaisin · 14/03/2021 14:58

And I could have bought the same cake in Costco for £1.

When they are dead you will wish you had been nicer. By the way, should you have been doing it anyway in a pandemic.

Haffdonga · 14/03/2021 14:59

Call the police NOW

Haffdonga · 14/03/2021 15:00

Have you called the police yet?

MeanMrMustardSeed · 14/03/2021 15:00

Is your DH a cyclist? If so, you’ve both brought it upon yourselves.

SilverBirchWithout · 14/03/2021 15:01

This happened to me too.
I think you need to move on, may be buy them a box of chocolates. Some people have a lot going on in their lives, you don’t know why they felt the need to behave this way.

Have you considered counselling?

SirVixofVixHall · 14/03/2021 15:01

Have you called the out of hours GP ? I suggest A&E now tbh.

Haffdonga · 14/03/2021 15:02

You are clearly as abusive as them by not reporting to the police.

And what the fuck are you doing with time on your hands to post this on MN instead of parenting?

katy1213 · 14/03/2021 15:02

YABU. You haven't mentioned Covid. Not once. Don't you care about grannies? I haven't seen my MIL for over a year even though we have Been NC for decades. And I suffer from anxiety.

Bythehairywartsonmywitchychin · 14/03/2021 15:02

Reverse?

scaredsadandstuck · 14/03/2021 15:02

Sounds like ADHD. Get a free half hour consultation with a solicitor.

1Morewineplease · 14/03/2021 15:02

You need a Ring doorbell and you need to put locks on your bins.
If your child's class teacher doesn't like it then you'll need legal advice but in the meantime, put up a fence on your boundary.
That'll stop all the cats shitting on your washing line.

SilverBirchWithout · 14/03/2021 15:03

Make sure you report it to the police, so they have a record of the behaviour on their files.

BonnieDundee · 14/03/2021 15:03

You need to go on a spa day and leave him with the shopping, cleaning, cooking and childcare

In fact fuck that, a spa weekend is in order here

PhillipPhillop · 14/03/2021 15:03

So what did the police say when you called them?

CallmeHendricks · 14/03/2021 15:03

Phone a solicitor for a free half hour. And log it with 101.
