I have a huge issue with this post but can’t articulate why.

I know you will hear me though.

If feminists are “exploiting the death of this poor woman (I don’t believe we are btw) Fathers 4 justice are definitely using it as for their own purposes. The lack of self awareness in that post is staggering. They also fail to say who is killing men. It’s men btw. Men killing other men. Far, far more than women killing men.

F4J are and always have been a sack of cunts.

It's because they're missing the most glaring point in their argument - men kill women, men also kill men. Men are still the problem. The reasons and how women are killed is usually more violent and include a sexual aspect, which this post also chooses to ignore. Sometimes it includes their children as well.

This isn't a war on men - it is merely highlighting Ince again how they are the violent sex in the majority of cases.

Bloody women. Moaning about being a woman being murdered by a man.

We should all think about the men here, women don't matter, there are poor men out there at risk... Of being murdered. In most cases - by a man.

It's not "fathers4justice" - it's "men4hatingthemselvesandwomen".

Cases of women killing men are very rare & will carry a lot of publicity.
Men killing, injuring & humiliating women happens so often it isn't even reported in many cases.
Don't expect much more from FFJ, self righteous bullies at the best of times.

And to think some of those fathers will have daughters. Scary.

Like someone else said, F4J tend to be the men who use their kids as pawns when their marriage breaks down. I used to work for an MP and we had endless trouble with them. They once superglued our locks so we couldn't get into our office. They were also usually the ones who refused to pay any maintenance for their kids, despite claiming to be heartbroken about not seeing them. Lots of crossover with Men's Rights Activists...

I think there is probably a very good reason that the men in fathers for justice don't have access to their kids. They probably are abusers but don't except it and believe they are in the right. Men do kill women but it's not women killing men again it's men

The thing that fucks me off with this argument is that, for me anyway, it's not just about being killed. It's about everything else, sexual assaults, rape, harassment, domestic violence, catcalling, groping, and on and on...

And I'm not having for a minute that men deal with all of that more than or are more at risk of all of it together, than women are. Like we should just be grateful the issues women suffer at the hands of some men, don't kill as many of us. I imagine it's still overwhelmingly women who experience all of the above and more but it's okay because we don't die.

And yes of course, the fact that it's still men that are killing these other men.

If men weren’t killing so many men, more women would be dead. If anything, it would be great if men killed more men.

Fwiw: I am a man.

I mean they are technically correct, as are a lot of other people who have pointed it out, that the chances of women being murdered by a man who is a stranger, are very low. However the chances of a woman being sexually harassed or assaulted or suffering other sexist discrimination (eg gender pay gap) is pretty much 100% so it's a certainty. And what these apologists don't seem to accept is that

1. All the little things being accepted every day then lead to acceptance of more serious things and eventually leads to men murdering women
2. We are sick of it. All of it. So I think people are protesting about all of it, not just the murder by strangers which we understand is a remote chance
3. Of course women are 'jumping on the bandwagon' of a murder that has generated press interest. While i can understand why some might find that distasteful, I think women have been given no choice, because if we speak up about everyday sexism or how covid has disproportionately affected women or about the gender pay gap, nobody bats a fucking eyelid and nothing changes. Sometimes it takes something truly horrible to generate a discussion and for people to actually listen and question their own part in things.

It's like the people who argue against the BLM movement saying more whites kill whites and more blacks kill blacks and the chance of a white police officer killing a black man purely because they are a black man is statistically very low. Not incorrect but completely ignores that people are protesting against the everyday racism that pervades every aspect of life that combined, then lead to this happening. Yes not all police officers are racist but this doesn't mean that the majority of people (of all races) have racial bias and everyone shouldn't be talking about how to recognise this and take action to make things fairer.

It started as a legitimate campaign for good fathers being treated unjustly, but it was hijacked by misogynists and those wishing to push not a pro-father agenda, but an anti-woman one. A lot of its members were being kept from their children for good reason.

At any rate, whom do they think is killing the men?

I'd also be curious what would happen to the figures if you took out those killed whilst committing acts of violence themselves i.e. fights, gangs etc... I'm not convinced as many men are killed by, for example, a jealous partner, ex spouse, stalker, because of religion etc...

Both positions are discriminatory. The common issue is violence in the streets.

A male totally innocent bystander shot dead by a drug dealer by error is just as tragic.

Why make it a competition and blame culture?
