Salt & vinegar crisps

Aibu to feel that Salt & vinegar crisps are disgusting? I don't eat them but my DS does. The smell makes me absolutely wrench.. Smell like some toxic rancid window cleaning products. No other flavours of crisps bother me but Salt & vinegar crisps just make me feel so ill, just the smell. I need to leave the room when anyone is eating them, then I need to open windows and wipe down all door handles and furniture etc afterwards. And don't even get me started on the grease stains made by my rather messy Ds. Anyone with me on this?

If you think they smell, don't buy cheese and onion or sour cream and chive.

I am so with you! Absolutely disgusting. I turn the tap on for DP on the rare occasion he is allowed to have them so he can wash his hands thoroughly after. Yuck.

YABVU. All crisps are delicious, I eat anything - fancy kettle chips, Walkers, puffs, Pom Bears, tortilla chips.....if it’s crunchy and salty I’ll eat it

YANBU, personal tastes are personal tastes. You sound like my mum, she hates malt vinegar, I grew up with no ketchup, pickles etc. Now 30 years later I still get excited about eating beetroot/gerkins

Food of the gods - I could live on salt and vinegar crisps. Perfect balance of crunch, slight greasiness and a sharp hit of acidity and saltiness.

Best flavour. Pretty much lived on them during my first pregnancy! Prawn cocktail though is a different story....bleugh

They’re lush. Particularly Quavers that have just come back.

YANBU salt and vinegar crisps are truly horrible. As are chips with vinegar. I prefer ready salted crisps but don't mind bacon, beef or cheese flavours, but vinegar ones taste rank.
