Salt & vinegar crisps

Aibu to feel that Salt & vinegar crisps are disgusting? I don't eat them but my DS does. The smell makes me absolutely wrench.. Smell like some toxic rancid window cleaning products. No other flavours of crisps bother me but Salt & vinegar crisps just make me feel so ill, just the smell. I need to leave the room when anyone is eating them, then I need to open windows and wipe down all door handles and furniture etc afterwards. And don't even get me started on the grease stains made by my rather messy Ds. Anyone with me on this?

Posted too soon! Most crisps sold in the UK definitely adhere to the blue for salt & vinegar and green for cheese & onion rule.

YABU. Cheese & onion or Worcester sauce are far worse. Salt & vinegar crisps are amazing for a crisp butty.

I asked DH to get me a bag of Quavers from the corner shop as I always have a packet of the cheese flavour as a weekend treat and he came back with prawn cocktail flavour. 😢

This is hands down the worst thing I've ever read on MN, OP! Salt and vinegar is the best flavour. I love them. Fortunately nobody else here likes them at all so I get them all.

Oh thank goodness. I must just be Walkers brand then. (its is so very wrong though....)

I used to love crisps especially walkers cheese and onion.
Every packet I buy nowadays (in any flavour it seems) is either way too salty or has far too much flavouring. They’re just horrible!
I sometimes buy Smiths with the little blue sachet though!
