...or items?

Mine have been:

  1. A large transparent command hook that I put on the side of a chest of drawers to hang my hairdryer on (I tried lots of other sticky hooks before but that was the only one that actually worked)
  1. Buying all the same clothes hangers so DD's clothes look tidier
  1. A large kitchen sink tidier which has instantly made the kitchen side less messy

I am on a constant mission to improve our living spaces, so AIBU to ask what yours have been?

Chips every Friday.

Marks the week nicely and better than marking the week with binday, Thursday.

Your lidded drink reminds me of another really useful thing I bought:

www.couchcoaster.com/

DH loves it, no more trying to find a book to rest his drink on that I'm not having a fit he's using as a coaster!![/quote]
Thank you. I've just ordered one as well, it looks great.

Sallycinnamum · 19/02/2021 12:55

Can those who've bought cable organiser bags post some links please? There are so many to choose from!

CoRhona · 19/02/2021 12:56

Thank you for the fab suggestions so far, I have added so much to my Amazon basket!

Is this the best Eufy / Robovac price or is there a better one?

I am so fed up of telling my teens to hoover and they do a very basic job so this should be a brilliant addition to our household Grin

These are the long hoodies. But they also have what they call a “sweatshirt dress” which is a similar kind of thing and equally comfy. I wanted an Oodie but it was too expensive - these are about £15-20.

lotusbell · 19/02/2021 12:59

@Keepthechangeyafilthyanimal1, is it the ikea ones or something different?

CoRhona · 19/02/2021 13:01

@SplendidSuns1000 @Lovemydogsmorethananything it really is so useful, there's a circle inside which you can either keep in for glasses / tall drinks or remove for cups (there's a space for the cup handle).

It's been great to hear real, true reviews of good, life changing things (I did not think a Robovac would ever be part of my life but there have been so many rave reviews on here!!) Grin

I have the Eufy 15Max and got it from the Eufy site. I think I got a black Friday deal but various sales come up fairly frequently so keep an eye out.

ifitpleasesandsparkles · 19/02/2021 13:20

How do those wee robot vacuum cleaners hold any amount of dirt? They seem so small.

dottiedodah · 19/02/2021 13:30

A Breville Sandwich Toaster! Absolutely terrific .Lots of ideas .(Although cheese/pineapple the best by far for me) Used to go out for lunch most weeks ,but obv no more due to LD. Seems to bring a "Cafe" style meal home somehow!

lotusbell · 19/02/2021 13:40

@CurlyReds, what is the sizing like on these? It won't let me view the reviews.
I'm only 5ft but quite round so think a small might be too tight on me, but medium perhaps too sack like? I'm a 12/14 and usually go for medium in H&M stuff in tops.

Pizzaandgarlicdip · 19/02/2021 13:41

@dottiedodah we got one too. I highly recommend the waffle plates you can get for it as well

Scarby9 · 19/02/2021 13:46

The Seasalt Janelle coat for wet, cold outside coffee meets.

flumposie · 19/02/2021 14:14

So much. A laptop and printer for working from home. New coffee table. Hot chocolate velvitiser. Weighted blanket ( terrible insomnia during first lockdown). Garden furniture. Crystal art as a new hobby. Just ordered a drinks trolley as looks like my 50th birthday will be at home .

flumposie · 19/02/2021 14:16

Also disneyplus.

They don't hold loads. But as they run very frequently, they don't need to.
Notgoingonholiday · 19/02/2021 14:35

@Msfoxy17 sorry for delay! Will try to find website we got it from. It is so relaxing it's untrue! Cannot wait to get back on it Grin

itsmeagainagain · 19/02/2021 14:37

@GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER

Lockdown 2, a rainproof padded coat with zip up pockets, elasticated cuffs (no cold draughts), and a really good adjustable hood that stays put when it’s wet and windy. It was only an M&S relative cheapie but it’s made walks possible in virtually all weathers.
@GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER can you link to it?Smile
Notgoingonholiday · 19/02/2021 14:38

Looks like it was Hayes Garden World.

dottiedodah · 19/02/2021 14:40

PizzaandGarlicDip Oooh that sounds lovely! Will defo be trying those out . Thing is we used to have a really cheap Argos Special that we had for years.Only about a fiver or something. Never tasted as nice as these do though!

herecomesthsun · 19/02/2021 14:54

do the robot vacuums survive eating Lego? (have wanted one for ages but don't think they'd last long here)

herecomesthsun · 19/02/2021 14:55

@Keepthechangeyafilthyanimal1

A saucepan rack to go inside a cupboard, it has made our pan cupboard so much more organised!

Shelf extenders - they doubled the size of the spice cupboard and I could get everything finally in order so I can find what I’m looking for with ease. I then bought further sets to sort out two more cupboards!

linky link please Smile?

Walking boots from North Face, took a few to arrive because UPS were rubbish but worth the wait.
A waterproof coat from Joules, which is brilliant for work (Nursery teacher) when I'm outside for a large part of the day.
I have also discovered jogging bottoms. My favourites are from John Lewis and I even wear them to work.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 19/02/2021 15:27

@itsmeagainagain
This one, feather and down puffer coat - and it’s in the sale now.
Didn’t see what colours/sizes are left though.
