That women should not be banned from Social Media for asking the question ( Thread 4)

Langrycleg · 01/02/2021 10:56

Many women have been suspended from sm for asking the question:

“Do you believe that male sexed people should be allowed access to changing rooms and showers for female sexed people and teenagers?”
Seems like a perfectly reasonable question which we should be allowed to ask.

Let’s vote with our AIBU.

The claim was that it's trans ideology that any lesbian who won;t have sex with a trans women with a penis is a transphobe

It's a common sentiment online and is used to bully women and pressure them into sex IRL too. Lesbian dating apps are full of males. Sal Grover of Giggle has had so much abuse for making her social platform female only.

Again, you really should tell those on other social media platforms because they clearly have not got the message.

Including 'tik tok' where a young lesbian was absolutely hounded into making numerous apology videos for stating that she did not do 'dick'.

As people have pointed out to you, there is a wealth of evidence to the contrary. I believe an entire website is recording it all.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:45

I can't believe I can that Primark let some creep perv at women while hanging out in the female changing rooms and said "not our problem, you're the one with the problem".

jj1968 · 01/02/2021 16:45

I complained and was told that everything was just as it should be and that 'I' had the issue not them. Even though they are only supposed to allow this if there is floor to ceiling cubicles with lockable doors.

They are allowed to do whatever they want including not having changing rooms at all. But I agree there should be more pressure put on shops to ensure privacy in changing rooms, but as your example reveals this is nothing to do with trans women but everything to do with saving space and some customers liking them so they can show clothes to partners etc.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:46

It's a general disrespect for women, jj. It cuts across all of this.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:47

Yes, that was shocking.

I was surprised too. not really

Just as I was surprised to be told I was a bigot for writing to Tesco to say that maybe they should talk to Diva about one of their top lesbians who advocated for extreme porn including the lowering of the age of porn actors to 16, who seems to minimise deaths of women due to domestic violence due to it being effectively because women have 'eggshell skulls' and who misogynistically stated that maybe males were dying of covid because they were out working and women weren't...

Such a great progressor of lesbian rights and a great role model for young lesbians.

Impatiens · 01/02/2021 16:50

No, women should not be banned from social media for asking a perfectly reasonable question - however many times they ask it.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:50

All the lesbian subreddits have been taken over by MTF trans people and their female allies. Women are thrown off if they say they are only attracted to females.

YouTube lesbian star Arielle Scarcella constantly gets abuse and threats for her position that she is only attracted to female bodies. Even post op MTF trans people, but that isn't enough.

Can you give an example of anyone saying they were pressurised into having sex because a trans women told them it would be transphobic not to? Or is this like the girls supposedly exposed to male genitals in changing rooms due to trans inclusion? Something that doesn't appear to have ever actually happened let alone being widespread.
ArabellaScott · 01/02/2021 16:53

Here is Riley Dennis, a prominent transwoman and TRA, addressing the 'genital preferences' issue.

Straight from the horse's mouth, as it were.

Actually I disagree. It has everything to do with being told that males were allowed to us female single sex spaces such as female only changing rooms. It started with M&S.

I do agree that more pressure should now be put on stores to ensure privacy if they now refuse to make the changing rooms single sex again. I also predict that there will be a time they will change them back because people will not be using them and instead they will be flooded with returns that they then have to deal with.

Try the Trans Widow threads, for a quick example. There is also a poster on here (or was) who was punched because she said she didn't want to have sex with an MTF trans person, and she says her friends sided with the trans person.

Plus the Get the L Out report that I linked to below and which you obviously haven't read gives examples. It really is happening.

No Scarcella is criticised because she has said a whole range of things considered transphobic and she supports Donald Trump.

The lesbian subreddits have not been taken over by trans people, they have allowed trans people to join.

mooncats · 01/02/2021 16:57

Can someone frame this please :

Transwomen are males and as likely to be violent to women as any other males. So what boundaries would you draw to protect women from male violence?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:57

It started with that one, she was widely popular before that. It was a big deal when she said it.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/02/2021 16:58

Why should males join a lesbian subreddit?

Did I miss something? Did I see anyone state that it happening was 'widespread' or is this more j j hyperbole? People have given evidence of attacks increasing in unisex facilities. People have provided statistics on sex offenders, including child sex abuse. People have declared it counter to good safeguarding.

We keep pointing out to you that your number of when enough people are harmed is always n+1.

This is counter to good practice of safeguarding.

Typical jj!

People waste time getting numerous examples of this and jj will say " but they weren't actually forced to have sex so it doesn't count" No they were just called transphobes when they refused and were vilified on social media. But who cares just women after all!!

Winesalot · 01/02/2021 17:00

This gets ignored every time.

YY. JJ has no clue about safeguarding.

It doesn't give any examples of someone who was pressurised into sex with a trans women because she was told she would be transphobic otherwise. It is a study of friends of the authors and selected lesbian from lesbian only groups who are part of a decades long campaign to exclude trans women from lesbian spaces.
