am I the only one who never liked Tony Stark?

I enjoy watching the Marvel movies but have found Iron Man
annoying since Ultron Its not RDJS fault at all Its the character.
He is just too smug and snarky.
I felt like he was the real villain in civil war.
he just always thinks he knows best for everyone(I cant stand people like this in real life) and though I enjoyed his story I am glad the character is gone
I thought about posting this in the movies thread but I thought this would be best place to ask.

It's impressive how RDJr reinvented himself from being a washed up child star.

tbh, I haven't got over that. He's way too much 'tries too hard" for me to like.

I haven't watched enough of the films to have strong opinions, except I quite like Captain Am. :)

I had no idea he was a child star. I knew about his sort of 1980s brat pack background and his drug abuse and jail term but I didn't realise he had been a child star.

Oh definitely no to Iron Man. I'm Team Thor and Team Aquaman though. Or Team Both

Loki is very weaselly imo, don't see the attraction at all!

Didn’t like Stark, arrogant and not sexy. Used to like Loki until Hiddleston did that advert in his pants and the ridiculous relationship with Taylor Swift. Zero sex appeal after that. But Thor!!! Blimey, phwoar!!!

Actually, I preferred him green, the Professor Hulk persona was the best to me.

I think that all these super heroes have flaws, that counterbalance their super powers. Designed like that? (In that crazy world) I'd admire Stark for what he does technology wise, but not like him as a person.

And with respect to some of the other comments:

• Thor: Looks amazing. But I'd be worried that it was too big, where he'd want to put it, what he'd want to do with me

• Black Widow: Is great! But I've never done anything like that

But YES for both. As noted I have reservations in both cases, but for research purpose, for science, to learn more and grow as a person ... YES

Of course I'd need to check with DH first to get his perspective :)

Yes. Worst marvel super hero ever. I can't being myself to care about him at all. He is almost as annoying as DC's Batman. Spiderman rules!
