Aibu to say that Richard should have been with Elizabeth in the end?
I'm starting all the series from the beginning and they are much more suited.

I may be slightly over invested!

@purpleme12

Violet is in a few but only a handful. One of them I saw the other day but even in that episode you hardly saw her
Yes it was the on the other day, where Emmett was doing a production of "The Boyfriend" and then Hyacinth organises a barbecue at Violet's.
MrsToothyBitch · 12/12/2020 23:13

The bbq at Violet's episode is fabulous. I especially enjoy Hyacinth trying to get them all singing "there'll always be an England".

My dearest wish is to see Bruce in his Violet's Maid Marian costume. And to actually see Sheridan, obvs.

I also agree that Daddy should have been an invisible character. Other than one appearance where I think they don't speak but Hyacinth gets him to come along rather forcefully, I never found his actual appearances very funny. Also if Hyacinth was so moved by his plight, why didn't she move him in to Sheridan's old room? I can imagine it being easier to get out of Colditz. Although probably more comfortable!

She didn't want the neighbours talking when he escaped and got up to shenanigans.

MrsToothyBitch · 13/12/2020 08:47

I don't think Daddy would have had much chance of escape with Hyacinth as a jailer!

"Here girl, where are you"?
"I'm here love"
"Not you Mrs Braddock"!
