Tess Daley, what’s her secret?

She’s 51 and looks like she’s in her 30s naturally, with no cosmetic intervention other than make up IMHO. How?!

I remember what he did, I still don’t get your point. Unless you are saying she needs to remain attractive to keep him from cheating? I struggle to understand how any woman could think that way in this modern day, unless you meant something else?

She's a good looking woman with pretty good bone structure, but she had definitely had work done.

She looks like a 51 year old who takes care of herself, has money, good genes and probably has lots of pampering type treatments. Being tall and slim help a great deal.
Wouldn't say she's had surgery, she's 51 not 71.

I always wonder if BBC presenters, newsreaders and such like, get an allowance for gym work or have keeping fit and toned written in to their contract. And if they had an 'off' year eating chocolates during lockdown for example, how would the Beeb approach it with them? Would they give you help to get back on track or would it be a case of , unless you lose a stone and tone up within the next six weeks you will have your first official warning. Maybe if you have one of those top jobs, you just take it on yourself to keep yourself fit and 'camera ready' because there are so many potential successors snapping at your heels?

(Must get out more.)

I’ve stood next to Gwen Stefani a couple of years ago
It was unbelievable how young she looked. I had to google her age.
Flawless.

I agree it does look like Gwen Stefani has had work done, skin looks very smooth, but still wouldn't mind looking like her.

I am personally not a fan of extreme and overly obvious procedures, but people "naturally" used to lose their teeth from very young. I am very ok about not looking completely "natural" Grin

I definitely think she’s had work and she looks good, agree with other posters though that she’s a terrible presenter. Wooden. Dead behind the eyes.

I think she's had at least a partial face-lift, neck-lift and botox.

Whatever work she has had is top notch and she's been sensible about it and not gone over the top. As someone who has a neck like a Christmas Turkey, I wish I could afford to have doe what she's had done.

She looks amazing!

I guess she must have had work done but, if so, it's very good work. How come then that so many female celebs look so awful and strange because of work they have had done?

Lots of them, including Nicole Kidman, have more money than Tess so surely can afford the best surgeon/work?

I judge her on her presenting skills what she is being paid for, not her looks. She is utterly crap.
She is, mind.

Wooden as hell - and her ad libbing is non-existent.

It's depressing how many posters think she looks like that naturally. No wonder so many women struggle with accepting their looks! Yes she looks amazing but that's money and subtle work.

It is so obvious she has had botox and fillers. I went to evening out where they had a GP offering a consultation and gave me a face map of what I nneded done. It wasnt until I got that I can spot those that have had it. Those that think you can get to 50 with not one line and no neck line without having an intervention need to wake up...

Tess is gorgeous but she's definitely had botox. She has the botox forehead. It's impossible to have an extremely smooth, expressionless forehead in your 40s nevermind your 50s.

Tropicana218 yep clearly all natural? Are you joking? I was advised that most folks on TV start having botox in there 30s to prevent any lines from developing and then fillers start as you get older. Anyone that thinks that older celebs have natural good looks without interventions are naive

Not about TD but Strictly it Takes Two, they recently invited an Italian band on the programme,Amorata they were called or similar, specialising in music from Southern Italy. These musicians asked about payment, and the BBC said they could not afford to pay them, but their appearance on the show would boost their profile ! Their profile for what??? Session musicians have no other work atm, as public venues are closed. Their request to be paid was reasonable, but the BBC dropped them like a hot brick rather than pay them anything. Yet the BBC can pay talentless people like TD to flounce around in Botox bliss.
I think that's shocking!

People have to live, and you can't pay the rent with a "boosted" profile. It's like these "influencers" who expect free stuff in exchange for mentioning the giver's name on a website.

The money the BBC wastes and they begrudge a band their fees- disgusting!

(No the wonder the music on Strictly is rubbish if they aren't prepared to pay somebody decent)

She looks great.shes has some work, her top lip looks fuller overtime. I think she’s a picture of glowing health.

She was a model so had access to the best makeup artists and skincare ranges so would know the routine with her eyes shut, also knows how to eat properly and have a personal trainer on speed dial... Probably had fillers and botox also which seems normal for celebs and mid 20 year olds nowadays

I thought she was younger didn't know she was 51 so doing something right

Follow her on Instagram and you will see how vacuous she is - can’t even show genuine excitement for seeing Vernon retirning from I’m a celeb. She’s a strange women - probably hugely out of her depth presenting such a big show, probably quite shy, just not someone to warm to.
