Wtf!

BlueCatRedCat · 06/11/2020 00:15

Rick Santorum, ex Republican senator, CNN commentator and supreme Trump apologist, is laying into Trump! Calling him dangerous. Totally unprecedented.

tobee · 06/11/2020 00:15

@TheClaws

Happy to report I reported Steve Bannon on Twitter (and the FBI) and helped get him suspended. He had shared a particularly vile tweet about wanting top brass' heads on pikes (with video). Within 10 minutes his whole account was disabled. Grin

👍

TheNorthWestPawsage · 06/11/2020 00:16

Yikes! That was totally as expected but still utterly shocking.

Roussette · 06/11/2020 00:16

Tokyo... well with Nixon it was a number of them.
It should be McConnell, Pence, Graham and Javanka.

Its sacrilege that they just sit quiet

cantdothisnow1 · 06/11/2020 00:16

The Republican on CNN is speaking out against him., thank duck for that.

hallelujah, I was starting to think the World was going nuts.
lyralalala · 06/11/2020 00:17

He's even getting basic facts wrong - the sec. of state and Governor in Georgia are both republicans.

His paranoia is just spectacular.

maggiethecat · 06/11/2020 00:17

Can’t focus on that lunatic.

What’s the story with Arizona and him closing the lead? Are those remaining counts not postal ballots? If they are, why is that not favouring the Dems, as in other areas?

That’s actually great to see. Basic decency has to kick in at some point! This is beyond the pale

Just a point. If Trump is saying that the elections are all fixed, what happens when it comes to the Senate run off in Georgia?

Will that mean Republicans will turn out?

Also Fox has Biden on 264 votes. If the Georgia result goes to Biden do they call the election? Or wait for the recount?

AcrossthePond55 · 06/11/2020 00:18

I saw part of it.

Polls favouring Biden = corrupt voter suppression by the media.
Polls favouring him = 'good numbers'

Counting more votes after he's in the lead = illegal practice by the 'corrupt Dem machine'

"I went to school in Mass" = I know everything about their election procedures.

Corrupt Democratl machine. Listen asshole, if there really was a 'corrupt Democrat machine' you wouldn't have won the first time, now would you? Fucking Bawbag!

I do, however, fully expect this to end up before the SCOTUS. It's the natural progression of any legal case in the US. Whether the SCOTUS hears his case and how, or even whether, they rule on it is another matter.

My (Eeyore) prediction? We're now looking at Bush v Gore 2000 redux, although not the same legal grounds. No matter the vote count, this isn't going to be finally settled until sometime in December.

His face when they first went over to him was something else

He is never short of something to say and he was speechless

Catmaiden · 06/11/2020 00:18

Delurking to say, he stuck (mostly) to a script, too coherent to have been written by him, and that (apart from the "illegal votes" posturing) sounded like a concession speech to me?
And yes, chilling call to riots Shock

RedToothBrush · 06/11/2020 00:19

Also, DH pointed out earlier, if he loses the election will he get off his arse to try and help the Republicans in the Senate run offs?

(Noting he has seemingly fallen out with the GOP and that tie...)

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/11/2020 00:19

Can’t focus on that lunatic

Try some binoculars

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/11/2020 00:19

Blonde woman on CNN says she called Republican contacts during Trump tirade to ask when they were going to stage the intervention.

She also said that Trump had been setting this up for months as his endgame. This is why he was urging his supporters not to vote early so that this tactic could be used.

BonnieDundee · 06/11/2020 00:20

Is anybody else wishing that they hadn't watched Years and Years? Shock

Roussette · 06/11/2020 00:20

The CNN anchors are really quite upset. Not surprised. They are talking about the racism... he was disgusting about Detroit

BlueCatRedCat · 06/11/2020 00:20

@cantdothisnow1

Thank you BlueCat, how is it invoked?

Surely both democrats and reasonable republicans can see that this can't continue?

This man cannot be allowed to rule for another 60 days, he's unhinged.

I believe Nancy Pelosi, leader of Congress, needs to invoke it through a vote in congress and then get the Senate to agree to the same. If they do, they relieve Trump of the position, and put Pence in his place. Senate/McConnell not likely to cooperate.
anewdispensation · 06/11/2020 00:20

The black guy on CNN is on the verge of tears. Donald Trump is race baiting. Dog whistle racism calling out those 2 cities with large African American population as corrupt...

CoffeeandCroissant · 06/11/2020 00:21

It's notable that nobody is backing him apart from his family and Guilianni, the Republican party know the game is up and that they will have to intervene soon and tell him that it's over and there are no legal options that lead to the supreme court as there is no evidence. Even Trump knows this, just that his ego and narcissism won't allow him to admit it or to concede gracefully.

Roussette · 06/11/2020 00:21

Under 4,000 gap in Georgia now

tobee · 06/11/2020 00:21

25th amendment?
