JustSaying101 · 03/11/2020 19:55

Intrigued to see who everyone thinks will win the current US presidential elections? I wouldn't personally vote for Trump, but I think he will manage to win another term. What do you think?

YABU = Trump will win
YANBU = Biden will win

There's loads of stuff if you Google it. I haven't read that particular one. I initially came across it on twitter.

Caroncanta · 05/11/2020 10:30

This is the first one I saw on twitter. It's impossible to know what's true anymore with the amount of biased reporting out there.

US Elections - Trump or Biden, who will win?
bluewanda · 05/11/2020 10:39

What the hell is happening in Arizona? Has Biden not won it after all?

Brightonbabe5 · 05/11/2020 10:44

It looks like it was called too soon in Arizona

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 10:47

Trump won in Arizona???

WitchesSpelleas · 05/11/2020 10:56

No, Trump hasn't won in Arizona - what's being said is that as not all the votes in Arizona have been counted, Biden's lead is not unassailable - it's still possible for Trump to win. The news agencies that have called the state for Biden have done so prematurely.

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 10:57

30,000 missing votes that will mean a win for Trump? That is what I am hearing. I wish this was over already.

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 10:58

Apparently Arizona voting premises is under lockdown due to armed militia surrounding the building. Sounds great fun.

freddosfrogs · 05/11/2020 11:01

@Ihaveyourback

Trump won in Arizona???
No. CNN still have it as uncalled, so do the BBC.
PostItJoyWeek · 05/11/2020 11:01

Land Of The Free Hmm

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:01

Sky reporting that Trump has caught up...

CNN say Trump would need 58% of the uncounted votes to win in Arizona.
Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:10

red wave seems to be taking over Arizona according to news channels. Georgia soon to be announced.

wowfudge · 05/11/2020 11:13

There's a lot of fake news on SM about voter registrations. You can register right up to polling day iirc and the lists are in the public domain. Plus the votes of the US military stationed abroad don't come in for counting until later than US postal votes, etc. It's going to be close, but as predicted the postal votes seem to be favouring Biden.

PullTheBricksDown · 05/11/2020 11:13

58% is doable though it seems. Bloody hell!

Come on Georgia.

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:15

You would think given the importance of postal votes there would have been proper oversight of them, invigilators checking from each side etc. But no, it is wide open now to be contested in court.

wowfudge · 05/11/2020 11:15

Trump's lead in Georgia is narrowing - it was 0.5% around 8am and now it's 0.4%.

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:17

Only 4% left to count in Georgia.

wowfudge · 05/11/2020 11:21

If Biden wins Georgia before we have the results for Arizona and Nevada then it's all over for Trump.

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:23

Yes that is right, but it doesn't look like Trump will win Georgia to me.

Brightonbabe5 · 05/11/2020 11:24

Is it the first candidate to reach 270 wins?

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:24

Now at 98% and Trump in lead

wowfudge · 05/11/2020 11:25

A lot of what is being spouted about scrutiny and oversight is bollocks - both parties have a presence at the count and publicly casting doubt on the propriety of the counts is a nasty slur on those people working hard to process the largest number of votes ever cast.
Kljnmw3459 · 05/11/2020 11:25

Sky news has a great list of states yet to be declared and how many votes still to be counted and what's the lead margin. Based on that and my limited knowledge of the demographics of those states I'll predict Arizona, Alaska, North Carolina, Georgia for Trump. Pennsylvania for Biden. Nevada not sure but I'm thinking Trump?

Ihaveyourback · 05/11/2020 11:36

Trump is quite far ahead in Pennsylvania though and 86% counted...?
