I am an IDIOT. Just dropped my beautiful personalised EB mug dd bought for me (Granny actually did the purchasing) for her first Xmas. I could cry!! I’m going to buy another exactly the same but bloody hell.

I’m not the only one emotionally attached to mugs am I?!

This is my work mug. As you can see, it's already been mended once- I rescued it from the cleaner trying to bin it. The one time I left it on the draining board someone borrowed it and I found it the next day perched on top of a bin by the smoking area!! You'd best believe I went bananas! He gets locked in my desk for safe keeping.

DP & I have the mugs we got each other (Nic Cage for me and an Iron Man Stark Industries mug for him) as wfh "work mugs", too (please work send me home so I can use Nic Cage). My bone china 65 year /millenium commemorative one for my old school is a pencil holder on my desk at home, too because I don't want it to break through use. Can't replace it.
