To ask about your oven gloves...

None work. None. After yet another burn to the hand this weekend whilst serving the Sunday roast potatoes (slathered in goose fat), I give up.

AIBU to say no oven gloves are worth their salt? That they have a relatively short lifespan after which time one may as well use bright yellow marigolds?

If you've found the answer to my hot handed dilemma, please can you share?

Padded silicone ones that are separate, so your reach isn't restricted.
I used to look I was self harming I'd have so many little burns on the inside of my forearms. Now just clear unblemished skin Smile

I have these IKEA ones they are small and handy if you only need one. They also double up as a table protector for hot pans and trays.

@Idontgiveagriffindamn

My le creuset ones are fab. At one point one of the sides was letting a lot of heat through but then I discovered it had a patch of oil on. Once washed they were fine again
Yep these! Only ones that work.

I hate the silicone ones, too bulky, you lose your grip.

@SimonJT

Pete, is that you?

Mine are just like the Coolskin ones posted by a PP, can't remember the brand so may be them. Best things I've ever used. Having all the fingers means I find it much easier to hold certain dishes or the grill pan handle if it ends up too hot.
