Why the heck is there so many older people in positions of power in the US?
It dumbfounds me to be honest. And I include Biden in that category, much as I like him.
I just find it very strange. I don't wish ill health on anyone, but someone who obviously is not well should not be running for 6 years surely...

Biden is a man of experience, maturity, and obvious humanity, but had the Republican Party put forward a credible candidate for president, we would have felt no compulsion to state a preference. Donald Trump, however, is a clear and continuing danger to the United States, and it does not seem likely that our country would be able to emerge whole from four more years of his misrule. Two men are running for president. One is a terrible man; the other is a decent man. Vote for the decent man.

Wowsers! That may not be a ringing endorsement for Biden, but it's a loud and clear condemnation of Scrotus!

Got through the debate. It was 'easier' to watch than the 1st one and Joe was able to put forth some of his plans. But Scrotus bloviating about Hunter Biden 'emails' and his bombast about his 'achievements' still got my goat. Roll on 3 Nov.

I see Trump made a big thing of voting in person this morning in Florida, stating that mail in voting wouldn't be as secure.
First time he hasn't voted by mail for about 11 years

Trump who used to be Pro Choice, (which is not surprising for such a womaniser) decided to oppose abortion once he ran for office, obviously a political vote winning stance rather than a moral one.
But in Pennsacola he showed how little he really cares about the issue personally when he got the basic terminology mixed up.

According to a report from Forbes, Don Trump Jr. and his younger brother, Eric are using the waning days of the 2020 election to float trial balloons about their personal future political plans at a time when their father, Donald Trump, is on the verge of seeing his own brief political career coming to an abrupt end.

The report states the two brothers, who ostensibly run the Trump Organization when they are not tweeting and defending their father, have been making subtle overtures on their social media accounts.
